Five months Later....
My life has been going better. I've made friends. Like actual friends. Two friends actually, my best friend is named Jennifer and my other best friend is named Christian.
I met Jennifer that day in the hallway. My first day at school actually. But we just started talking. I've been a lot better. He's not coming back. It'll be like old times where he doesn't talk to me and I don't talk to him.
Kayla and the bitches stop picking on me two months in when they realize why Kason left. Everyone knew who spreads the rumors around school. It was Kayla. She was apparently obsessed with Kason but figured out that his dad went to prison.
"Hey Harley you want to come to my house for a sleep over tonight?" Jennifer says grabbing her math book from her locker.
"Um...yeah I just have to tell my aunt." I say nodding my head.
"Harley you have that I miss him face again!" Jennifer says rolling her eyes.
"It's been five months...he's not coming back...I don't care." I say crossing my arms.
"Well good because your going to get a new boyfriend!" She says standing on her tip toes.
"Who's getting a new boyfriend?" Christian says wrapping his arms around Jennifer.
"Harley! She definitely getting a boyfriend." Jennifer says holding Christian's hand.
"Guys I'm not getting a boyfriend" I say rolling my eyes.
"Fine...we will continue this after school." Jennifer says chuckling and kissing Christian goodbye.
Did I also mention they were dating?

As I was walking home I notice the day was kind of getting grey. It looked like it was going to rain.
Great. Only a couple more feet until you are home Harley.
I feel the first drop of rain on my cheek. Then it comes pouring down. I run into the yard and under the porch.
I grab my keys from my book bag to unlock the door. I saw someone in the corner of my eye, but I was going to ignore it.
"Are you just going to ignore me Harley?" The guy said clearly sitting on the rocking chair.
I knew that voice.
