(Lunch time)
"So He's back." Jennifer says sitting down with her tray.
"First thing you say when you sit down." I say rolling my eyes picking through my food.
"He came by her house yesterday...and she was really rude to him" Christian says putting his arm around Jennifer.
"I wasn't rude..I just....I can't trust him anymore...so can we please stop talking about it?" I ask still picking through my food.
"Yeah..." Jennifer says smiling and nodding her head.
"So what about the prom?" Christian says after a few moments of silence.
"Well obviously Harley is going with us!" Jennifer says cheering up.
"The dance is in three weeks guys...and I'm not going." I say shrugging my shoulders.
"Just think about it..ok?" Jen says smiling at me.
I just nod my head. I didn't feel like going to a dance. I was never a dance kind of person.
For a moment I feel someone gaze on me from across the room. It couldn't be Kason. But I made sure to see who it was.
I saw him looking at me. Christian's back was to him and Jen's. But he was definitely looking at me. Once he saw my glance he looked away. Of course he would.
"Earth to Harley?" Jen says waving her hand in front of my face.
"Um...sorry!" I say shaking my head.
"I was asking do you want to shop with me...you know getting dresses?" She says tilting her head.
"Yeah..sounds good." I say nodding my head.
I felt Kason glare on me again. But this time I didn't look at him. I couldn't because I wouldn't be able to look away.

"Harley!" I hear someone yell my name from behind me.
I looked behind me to see the one and only. I think you can guess who that is.
"Wait up!" He says running towards me.
Looks like his knee is all better. He's got friends this time. What changed about him?
"What do you want Kason?" I ask bitterly rolling my eyes.
"I just wanted to talk" he says shrugging his shoulders.
"You have other friends Kason...you probably don't want to talk to your ex-girlfriend do you?" I say stopping my walking.
"Harley I'm sorry ok...I was stupid to believe you did that" he says getting in front of me.
"Kason can you leave me alone?" I say shrugging my shoulders.
"Can you ever?!" I say yelling in his face.
"You know I was gone for five months?" He says looking down.
"Yeah..of course I fucking know!" I yell scoffing and backing away a little bit.
"In those five months I kept thinking of you. Every damn second. Then I talked to myself about and I knew I love you." He says looking straight up at me.
"What?" I ask breathless he would even say that right now.
"Yeah Harley freaking Vine I love you. I'll tell everyone if I have to. With everything that was going on you managed to stay in my head." He says stopping looking behind me at nothing.
"You know i wasn't actually going to come back but I said to my mom I need to because I left the love of my life behind? So here I am trying to get you back but I know it's not going to happen. Your happy without me you have friends Harley. So I just wanted to tell you before I leave tonight for Michigan." Kason says shrugging his shoulders.
"I'm sorry I ever broke up with you..I was stupid but I'm not stupid enough to not try." Kason say walking away.
He loved me? And I couldn't even say it back?
