Juliet
The big, brown building loomed over us, blocking the direct sunlight that would have blinded our eyes. The bold red letters that was fastened to the roof read: Bayview High
People that once adored me, shoved past us, sparing me sorrowfull glances as they made their way inside the school.
"Would you slow asses hurry up already?! We're going to be late." Everest said, adjusting the grey hoody that fell loosely around his upper body.
"Shove off would you?" Vee spat as we picked up our pace to catch up with him.
We made our way to my locker first, which was on the first floor. I entered my code and the locker sprung open with a clang. I shoved my bag inside and took out my French and Math books.
I heard Ev scoff behind me. "Your locker is even more disorganised then your bedroom." he said.
I laughed and closed the door. "Not as disorganised as your face." Vee said giving him an evil smirk.
Everest was about to spit something back at her, but he was shoved to the side and landed against the locker with a thud.
"Out of my way, fag."
Enter Noah Micheals everyone!! He was your typical high school bad boy. With his messy brown hair that was always pushed back into a quiff.
Even though the dresscode was blatantly against obviously shown tattoos, he didn't care. The usual white T-shirts he wore proudly showed the tatoos on his arm and chest. Paired with his usual dark grey or black jeans and black boots.
I always thought he needed a leather jacket... but I geuss he didn't own one.
"Hay! Piss off! Only I get to call him that!" Vee spat, glaring holes into Noah's face.
"Oohh.. It speaks." That shrill irretating voice belonged to none other than Nicole Dowrey. She was the classic bitch that thought she owned the school.
Her waist long blonde hair was always straightened to perfection. And the clothes she wore never left much to the imagination. She was always seen clinging to Noah's side like a piece of old gum.
Vee rolled her eyes and folded her arms over her chest in annoyance.
"Back off Plastic bitch. Your breath is making me nausious." Everest said, glaring at Nicole with venom.
I understood why he hated her. She was the one that told the hole school he was gay. Causing a few years of brutal bullying.
I sighed and took a step back. "Look guys. Can we not do this today?" I asked softly. With the sad truth about my birthday and the looming guilt and sorrow I felt, I wasn't in the mood for a hallway fight right now.
"Fuck off Bambi. No body was talking to you." Nicole spat glaring daggers at me through her fake lashes.
My gold brown eyes looked up and met a pair of emerald green ones. Noah looked at me with his lips pressed into a thin line.
His eyes holding hatred and sorrow at the same time. It's crazy to think that those eyes once held love and happyness for me.
Noah was my brother's best friend. Julian met him at the skate park when we were 12. Noah was sitting there with a bloody nose and a bruised eye. And Julian immidiately took him under his wing. It was only a few years later that we found out all the bruises permanently etched on his face was caused by his father.
They became like brothers. One was never seen without the other and Noah ended up crashing at our house as much as he possibly could to escape his father's drunken wrath.
