I Won't Let You Go

Chapter 12

Three days have passed since Agnetha's birthday. It was about 4 am on a bright Monday morning, ready for a day at work in the studio yet again. Agnetha couldn't be anymore thankful for Björn surprising her with the trip to Gröna Lund and her entire family and friends surprising her with a nice celebration at home, along with the thousands of birthday cards, greetings, and messages sent to her from fans all over the world.

Among the gifts that touched her the most was a 20 minute long video that a number of her young fans had collaborated on and worked really hard on to put together and sent to her. Agnetha felt very sentimental and couldn't help but cry grateful tears when Görel showed her the video that had been emailed to her by one of the fans who had participated in the video. Since then, Agnetha couldn't stop watching the video along with Björn. She was so touched that these fans, who were mostly young teenage girls the same age as Tilda and Esther, would dedicate many, many hours and even days and weeks of their time to put together that 20 minute video for her birthday.

Agnetha had been dreaming peacefully about her love for Björn and how protective he was of her. Well, he had always been protective of her, but even more so now given the situation that Agnetha has been for more than 20 years now. It was now 7 am and when Agnetha opened her eyes, she immediately panicked. Oh no! Oh no! Björn! He can't be gone! There's no way!, Agnetha thought.

Björn had gotten up from bed about a half hour earlier and had been taking a shower and getting ready for the long day ahead. He was just about to come out of the shower when he heard somebody screaming. There was no doubt that the painful, heartwrenching screams were coming from Agnetha.

He rushed out of the shower and covered himself with a towel as quickly as he could and went over to her. He pulled Agnetha closer and held her. By then, Agnetha was sobbing and Björn rocked her and hushed her until she was alright.

"Feeling better?" Björn asked once Agnetha's tears began to slow down.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Agnetha sighed.

"What happened?"

"It's nothing, Björn."

"But I just heard you screaming."

"I SAID IT'S NOTHING, BJÖRN!" Agnetha hissed.

"Ok ok! No need to shout!" Björn said as he put his hands up as if he were surrendering.

"I'm sorry Björn! I shouldn't have shouted at you!" Agnetha exclaimed quietly as she began to cry once more.

"It's ok. I just want to know what happened and if you're ok sweetheart. That's all," Björn replied reassuringly as he rubbed her arms.

"I don't want to talk about it, Björn," Agnetha said quietly as her tears subsided.

"Ok then. Let's go eat breakfast. I'm pretty sure Linda and her crew are already waiting for us downstairs. And I'm sure Christian and Isabelle are already there too with Nike," Björn said as he got up.

Björn helped Agnetha up from her bed and helped her get ready for the day before joining the rest of their clan for breakfast. Linda was quick to notice that her mother had been crying. She quickly rushed over to Björn to try to figure out what had happened.

"Papa, what happened with Mama? Did you guys fight?" Linda asked quietly.

"No, sweetheart. We didn't fight. It's something else altogether. I don't know exactly what happened because your mother won't tell me what's wrong," Björn replied.

"Björn, just drop it. It's none of her business," Agnetha said from the dining table, having overheard Linda and Björn's conversation.

Björn and Linda sighed as they joined the others for breakfast. After a nice, delicious meal, Tilda drove herself to school while Linda and Jens drove the other two girls to their school. Christian and Isabelle then drove Nike to daycare and then work, leaving Björn and Agnetha in the house. But not for long as they also had to go to work.
