I Won't Let You Go

Chapter 30

Two weeks have passed since Björn proposed to Agnetha. It was official Agnetha and Björn were engaged and pregnant and they couldn't be any happier. Today was going to be a jam packed day as it was not only Christian's 42nd birthday, but it was also the day Björn and Agnetha were due back at the clinic for another ultrasound. This time, they will be finding out the gender of their two babies. And Agnetha and Björn couldn't be anymore excited and nervous at the same time.

Will it be two boys?

Or two girls?

Or a boy and a girl?

Those were the thoughts that were running through their minds as they entered the women's health center and signed in. After a few minutes of waiting, Agnetha and Björn were called into one of the ultrasound rooms where the excitement began. The technician prepared Agnetha for the ultrasound before Ella came in and poured the cold gel all over Agnetha's stomach and moved her device around. And sure enough, the grainy images of two little babies appeared on the screen in front of them.

"Well they both look really healthy," Ella said as she continued moving the device around. "Now here's the moment you guys have probably been waiting for, want to find out the gender of the two babies?"

"Yes," Agnetha nodded emotionally as happy tears streamed down her face.

"For sure," Björn responded.

Ella moved her device around a little more so she can get a better view of the first baby. And sure enough, Ella was able to determine the gender of the first baby.

"Well the first baby is a girl," Ella announced.

"A little girl. I can't believe it," Agnetha breathed.

"Another little princess," Björn added.

"Anyways, I reckon you want to find out the gender of baby number two as well," Ella said.

"Yes please," Agnetha replied.

"Ok," Ella replied.

Ella moved her device around a little more once again so she can get a better view of the second baby. She was able to determine the gender of the second baby right away.

"And baby number two is...," Ella announced.

"Is it a boy?" Björn asked, sounding as if he were pleading, although he was just being sarcastic.

"Or is it another girl?" Agnetha added, sounding very determined.

"Well Agnetha's right," Ella said. "You're carrying two little girls."

"Our little angels," Agnetha gushed as she became emotional again. "Björn, I can't believe it!"

"It's a miracle," Björn replied gently.

Ella cleaned off Agnetha's pregnant stomach which was growing bigger by the day before giving Agnetha and Björn copies of the ultrasound that was taken of their two little miracles. As they left the hospital, Agnetha and Björn decided to do some shopping. Three different types of shopping in fact. Baby shopping, Christmas shopping, and they were also buying a last minute birthday gift for Christian.

"You've been outnumbered you know," Agnetha laughed as they walked in the exact same department store where Lena had publicly humiliated Agnetha once more a few weeks earlier. "Five daughters and a son!"

"Hey watch it, Anna!" Björn replied jokingly. "I'm a strong man, you know!"

"Anyways, what shall we get our only son for his birthday today?"

"Perhaps a gift card and also a new pair of clothing or two. Or maybe a watch as well."

"Sounds good. And we can also buy some pink baby clothes for our little girls while we're at it."
