So that's the end of my story. Thank you to those who have supported this story all throughout the 4-5 month journey of me writing this story. Be on the lookout for a sequel that I will be publishing in the next few days called You're There. With the sequel itself, to be honest, I was debating whether to keep this story in real time or not but then again it's a fictional story so I can make up that part of the story as it goes. But anyways back to this story.
This story was a rollercoaster ride for sure. I came up with the idea for this story on a whim while battling my own insecurities. I knew that Agnetha had been depressed after the separation and divorce, with the 90s and early 2000s being a very rough period for her in particular. And while I don't think Agnetha was ever suicidal and I may be wrong, the reason why I decided to add such a sensitive topic and make it a very crucial part of the story was for multiple reasons.
1. It would add more drama
2. It would work really well with the storyline that I had been planning (mostly on a whim)
3. Birgit, Agnetha's mother, had taken her own life about 26 years ago and these days Agnetha is just as old as her mother was when she passed
4. Statement number 3 added on to what I said in the paragraph above about the 90s and early 2000s being a very rough period for Agnetha in particular.Of course, I have other points that I have to bring up. Lena, if you're reading this. I'm so sorry for making you a very evil person. I don't think you are that evil in real life but when it comes to the storylines that you came up with, it only made sense for me to make you an evil roach. Also, I'm not the only one on this fandom who has turned you and Mona into a roach in our stories. I mean the stories aren't real but still. But to make it up for you, you are actually very decent and tolerable in The Last Time, which is another one of my stories.
And here comes the most crucial point I have to make. At several points in the story, one of Agnetha's biggest regrets was not being able to have more babies with Björn and that it was already too late. My friend, Kaylee, who has helped me a lot with the story suggested that Agnetha should get pregnant in this story because that's what Agnetha wanted. She also suggested that she have twins and with me and her being the twins. And to be honest, I was very hesitant at first because the thought of Agnetha being pregnant at her elderly age was just too much.
But the more I looked into it, the more Kaylee was right. Not to mention that it would bring more drama onto the story and it certainly has. So with that being said, as you saw between Chapters 27 and 39, Agnetha was pregnant with Kaylee and I. And also in terms of the name guessing game that took place as Agnetha's pregnancy progressed, I want to congratulate all of you who participated. You were all so eager to find out what our names were going to be. And shoutout to gareth168 in particular as he was really getting into the guessing game and adding his own sense of humor into it. Wouldn't be surprised if he was eating a bowl of Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops, or Special K while he was doing so since he kept guessing Kelloggs.
But yeah either way, you've reached the end of this story. And of course, one giant shoutout to Kaylee (EndlesslyABBA ) she's my best friend on the fandom and also my twin sister in this story. She's really helped me out so much with the story and also don't hesitate to read her stories. They are very underrated and are totally worth a read. Be sure to read them in chronological order though starting with Take Good Care of Your Children and then followed by Maybe It Was Magic, Chiquitita, Stand By My Side, and Eyes of a Woman. I Wonder is another story of hers that's completely unrelated to the others but totally worth reading as well. And I mean it. Ps you might bump into some familiar faces in these stories along with another familiar face on the fandom hint hint.
Anyways, thank you so much for the love and support I've received as I was writing and publishing this story. I really enjoyed writing it as much as you guys enjoyed reading it and craved for more. I'm really gonna miss this story like I said but keep an eye out for the sequel. You're There should be published in the next week or so. I don't know when.
Love you guys so much that words can't really express it. Once again keep an eye out for the sequel and on any updates on my other stories and be sure to read Kaylee's stories as well. Love you!
Love,
Danielle
