I'm hoping I can get this chapter out soon, because my birthday is coming up on the 21st. Hope you're all doing well too! (This came out way later than that)

Tap. Tap. Tap.The same noise mocked me. Maybe it had been hours, or maybe it had been days. I can't tell.
Water fell, dripping onto the ground somewhere, but I couldn't tell from where. One thing I do know is that I'm underground somewhere. The only thing that isn't made of dirt is the heavy door the rogue left through.
My body stays pressed against the wall. My clothes are singed and torn, barely covering me. By the looks of it, the tips of my hair is also singed. Nothing feels broken, but maybe I'm too numb to tell. No, I feel myself trembling in the cold, my limbs aching in such a deep way that I want to cry again. I never get the chance because the heavy door opens, silent despite the obvious weight of it.
A man steps in, the same man talking to the black haired woman. She comes in after him, gazing at me with a deadly smile. The man is older than me, by at least double my age. His greasy, thinning brown hair is combed to the side, long enough to fall into his dark green eyes. One of them is slightly off, and I find out why when it doesn't move as he looks at me. I only have one second to react as he crosses the room, and I don't waste it. I launch forward and throw my foot into his throat. He grabs my ankle in his grimy hands and without giving him time to recover from his coughing fit, I throw my other leg up and rotate, sending my other foot into the side of his head.
The woman laughs, leaning against the door as it closes.
"Fuck!" He yells, stumbling to the side. I fall towards the ground and roll, landing on my heels. I cuss too, because he recovers a lot faster than he should've. I'm weak, very weak. I can still fight, but it'll only take me so far without my full strength. I stand at the same time he does. He wastes no time in charging, an angry scowl on his ugly face. I use his anger to my advantage and duck low when he's close enough, sending his legs into the air. He lands on his head, and it disorients him enough so that I can run towards the woman. She isn't expecting it, I can tell, because she doesn't stand until I'm right in front of her. I jump over her kicking legs and slam my hand into her throat. She begins to choke and I skirt around her, wrapping my arms around her neck.
"Don't move!" I yell as the man stands up.
He grins, a white tongue flicking over yellow teeth. "I don't care about 'er."
"I know." I say. "I just had to buy time." And I jerk my arms, snapping her neck.
She drops to the floor, her head bent at an odd angle. I don't take my eyes off of the man, so I'm ready for him when he charges.
I throw my arm up and block his punch, countering with a jab upwards into his chest. He's tubby, so a punch in the stomach would hurt but not enough. He grunts and swings his other arm, I have no time to block so I take the hit and send my leg out, kicking the side of his knee as my body flies to the left. He goes down on his knees, and I spin in the air, kicking the other side of his temple. I land on the ground on my side and scramble up, running towards the door.
But I overestimate my strength again, because before I even touch the weird panel that opens the door on this side, he has my long white hair in his hands and I'm crashing into the ground. His dirty foot lands on my chest as I scramble to get up.
"Stand down, bitch." He spits, wiping the blood trailing down his face with his arm.
"You first," I snarl, aching to slam my hand into his ankle and send him tumbling down. The urge is great, but I know that it would just be another game of cat and mouse. I'm too weak to be the damn cat this time and I refuse to die in this hole.
