Hardin

I leave my shirt out on the bed for when Tessa gets out of the shower. I love the way she looks in my shirts, the way her curves, and the outline of her body shows. she's beautiful in so many ways.

She comes into the room with a towel around her body and another on her head. I gets flashbacks to when I first ever saw her in a towel, she was Steph's new freshman roommate, she had just came back from the community showers at the college in Washington. She was different then, happy. Stop, stop, you can't think like that, she is happy now and so are you. We are about to get married, I never thought I would want this but hell, I never thought I would fall in love with Tessa either. "Everything okay" Tessa asks as she pulls me from my thoughts, "yeh, I'm just happy your here with me" I say and she smiles.

I lay down on the bed and put my arms behind my head. "Your thinking about something" Tessa says. "what?" I ask, "you lay down like that and stare at the ceiling when your thinking about something." She explains. "I was just thinking back to the first time I saw you in a towel." I smile. She chuckles "oh yeah, I had no idea who you were when I walked in the room half naked because my clothes were wet from the showers." I laugh. Now she can be completely naked in-front of me while comfortable.

Tessa lays down next to me and reaches over to turn the lamp off. She rolls over, places her head on my chest and intertwines her legs with mine. It's completely dark and silent except the faint sound of Tessa heart beat. Even the way she breathes is the most beautiful thing ever. I love her so much, I love her with all my heart and I have done so much to change for her, for us. She forgave me for everything I have put her through and now it's time for me to give her all I have and al she deserves for the rest of our lives. She is everything and soon she will be my wife. "I love you" I say as I kiss her forehead. "I love you" she says back.

...

It's nine thirty in the morning when I wake up, Tessa isn't in bed, she's probably just down stairs making coffee. "Some coffee doesn't sound so bad right now" I say to myself. I throw on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt before I walk out of the room to go down stairs. When I get to the kitchen there Tessa is, talking with Karen about some type of creme cake shit. "Good morning" Tessa and Karen say at the same time then smile at each other. "Morning" I say back. Karen leaves the kitchen to go wake up Abigail her daughter. "How'd you sleep?" I ask Tessa. "Amazing, how about you?" She asks. "Would have been better if I woke up to you next to me, but good." She smiles "sorry I really wanted some coffee and you looked so peaceful." I walk over to her and put my hand on her lower back, and pull her close. She puts her arms around my neck. "It's okay." I kiss her and she smiles, the brightest fucking smile I have seen since I met this beautiful, amazing, talented women.

"So have you thought about any plans or details for the wedding?" I ask. She smile and nods, "It's all I could think about all morning, but I need to tell my mom and some other people about it first." She says. "Yeah maybe we can have some type of engagement party, or some shit?" I say. "Some shit" She repeats and laughs. "Yeh I mean that way we can let everyone know without having to have a thousand different conversations about it." I say. "Yeah that sounds good." She says as she sips her coffee.

She is so perfect, even in my t-shirt and bed shorts, she looks as beautiful a ever. "I think I want to plan our wedding." She says. I'm not surprised, I had a feeling she was going to mention something about that. She did plan Landons wedding and it was really nice. "Are you sure you want to put all that stress on yourself?" I ask her. "I mean I planned Landons wedding and it wasn't that hard." She says. She seems like she really wants to do this. "Who am I to stand in your way." I say and smile. I kiss her on the forehead, and grab a bowl and pour some Frosted Flakes into it.

Tessa hands me the milk and a spoon, "thank you." I say. "your welcome." She says. Even if it's just handing me a spoon for my cereal, I love the way she always seems to help me with anything. We continue to discuss our thoughts on the wedding, and we started to consider possible dates to do the ceremony on. She seems so happy and excited about the wedding, I am too, I'm about to marry the love of my life but I don't show it as much as her.

Karen comes back down stairs with Abigail, Tessa offers to watch her while Karen can get ready for the day. Karen thanks her and tells Abigail to behave. "Where's Ken?" Tessa asks, "He went to work early today, he had some paperwork and such to do." Karen says. "Oh okay, I wish I could have said hello to him before he left." Tessa says. "Oh I'm sure it's okay dear." Karen says As she starts to walk out of the kitchen and up the stairs to get ready. "Do you want to tell Karen now or wait until the party?" I ask Tessa as she starts on mixing the pancake batter to make pancakes for Abigail. "You can tell her now if you would like." She says while pouring the pancake mix onto a pan in circle shapes. "Okay." I say. I really don't feel like telling her right now, we can just let them know when me and Tessa have all the plans sorted out. "I have to do some work, are you okay in here?" I ask Tessa. "Yeah I can hangout with Abigail for a little bit while Karen is busy." She says. I kiss my fiancé on the forehead and walk up to the bedroom to write.

...

Tessa walks in the room just as I finish writing for the day. "Sorry I didn't know you were still working. Karen just took Abigail to school." She says. "No, it's okay I'm done for the day" I say. I open my arms, "come here", she lays down next to me in my arms and says "I may have given you the wrong impression when I walked away after I read your book about us." She says. "It's okay, I under-" I try to say as Tessa continues, "let me finish. I shouldn't have acted so out of proportion, this was your life and you can write about it if you want. I was letting other people's word and opinions affect me. I should have never done that and I should have listened to my own thoughts and opinions, no one else's. So I am truly sorry about how I acted, and I hope you can forgive me." She explains. "Yes. Yes I forgive you. Of course I forgive you. I love you so much Tessa." I say. "I love you. I am so proud of you Hardin." I kiss her, and In this moment I want to marry this women right here, right now.
