"I'm pregnant." Brooke said to Lucas with tears running down her face. Lucas backed up, confused, hurt.
"What?" He said.
"You heard me Lucas."
"How do you know?"
"I took a test, I went to the clinic I--"
"Does--- does Julian know about this?"
"Nobody knows." Brooke said.
Lucas said nothing, "Are you happy?" He asked her
"Of course I'm happy, I love him, I haven't been pregnant in 5 years and I don't know how he is gonna take it."
"Brooke, that's great news. Congratulations!" Lucas hugged her.
"Thank you."
Lucas slept on the couch, so Nicholas would see him when he woke up. He was tossing and turning all night, finally he got up and called Julian's cell. "Hello?" He said.
"Hey, um Julian, this is Lucas."
"Oh hey Luke is everything okay?"
"Yeah, yeah everything's fine. Listen I know you're shooting a movie right now but as soon as you can, you need to come home..to Brooke."
"Is she okay?" Julian said getting out of you seat.
"I don't know Julian... I don't know."
"I'll be there as soon as I can... and Luke tell her I love her."
"I will." Lucas hung up the phone and went back to sleep.
In the morning, when Brooke woke up she went to sit on the back patio. Lucas went out with a cup of coffee "Hey."
"Hey."
"You alright?" He asked her.
"I don't really know, I just feel sad."
"Is it the pregnancy?"
Brooke shrugged, Nicholas came out and rushed to Brooke's side. "Hey momma, you wanna play superheroes today?"
"Not today buddy." She said, Nicholas sadly walked to the glass door.
"Nick, go get your shoes, we are gonna go play ball with your cousin." Lucas said.
"Really?!" He said excitedly. Lucas nodded his head.
"You gonna be okay here by yourself?" Lucas asked her. Brooke looked at him and nodded. Lucas went inside and took Nicholas and Jamie to the park.
Brooke continued to sit on the back patio. "It's nice out today." Julian said walking up the stairs, Brooke turned her head and saw him.
"Julian?" She said.
"Hey baby."
"I thought you were--"
"Yeah well, Lucas called me said you weren't doing okay."
"He told you?" Brooke said
"All he said was you were upset. So what's the problem."
"You should sit Julian." Brooke said
"I think I'll stand."
"Well then I'll sit." Brooke said. "Julian I love you, so much I don't know how you feel about me but I'm pregnant and I will understand if you dont-"
"Shut up-- come here its okay." Julian said hugging her.
"Are you okay with it?" She asked laying her head on his shoulder.
"You're really pregnant?" She nodded her head. "Of course I'm okay with it, my girl is pregnant I love you Brooke."
Brooke smirked "Okay."
"We're gonna be just fine, come here baby." Julian held her close.
Julian decided to stay in Tree Hill, working from there so he could be there with Brooke. She just felt out of energy all the time, she felt sad. But Julian always tried to make it better.
She would get through it because she had people who loved her.
