Colby's POV

Dead end after dead end. It honestly felt like Savannah had disappeared from the face of the earth. I had taken a month off of work in order to search for her. I traveled to countless cities and states asking everyone I could if they had seen Savannah and I always got the same response, no.

I sighed heavily as I took a seat on my bed and pulled out my laptop, as I waited for it to load I took a long drink of coffee. I was basically running on fumes at this point. I hardly slept or ate unless I absolutely had to. My sole focus was on finding Savannah. Once my computer had loaded I opened chrome and looked up Savannah Petrova. No results. Alright I thought to myself that's odd. I then searched up Petrova Russia since her dad was from there. And immediately got tons of results.

I clicked the first article on the screen and began to read it outloud." Leinani Petrova and daughter Katerina Petrova read to the patients at the new hospital they funded." Once reading the headline I scrolled down hoping to find a picture of the mother and daughter but there were none.

I exited the article then searched Petrova family, Russia. Then clicked images and gasped in shock. There she was, Savannah standing in between her mother and father. Except she looked completely different. Savannah I mean fuck I guess her name was Katerina. Katerina was standing there with long blonde hair and ocean blue eyes, a smile on her face as she helped her parents cut the ribbon for a new building in her hometown.

"Why would you lie about your name, Savannah. Hell why would you hide how you look." I said in frustration, but there was no denying that Savannah was definitely Katerina. I know that smile and body anywhere.

Out of curiosity I looked up Katerina Petrova parents. The first article that popped up read Alexander and Leinani Petrova pronounced dead at their family estate, cause of death is unknown at this time. They're survived by their only child Katerina Petrova who seems to have vanished after her parents death which begs the question what does she know about what happened here tonight.

"Wow, so she wasn't lying about her parents death. I mean if she grew up in Russia then logically her stalker would've been from Russia right?" I asked myself outloud as I stared at the picture of Katerina on my screen.

"I'm coming, my love. I think I found you." I said to the photo of her as I closed my laptop and set it aside then began to quickly get dressed. I was honestly hurt that Savannah, fuck I mean Katerina felt like she had to hide so much from me. I mean I didn't even know her actual name but that was a discussion for another time. First I had to find her. I quickly threw some clothes in a suitcase then got in the car and drove to the nearest airport and booked the first flight available to Moscow, Russia.

As I was walking towards my gate I noticed a man behind me in a suit, I thought nothing of it at first figuring it was either a coincidence or possibly a fan. I took a seat near my gate as the flight wasn't for another three hours and the man took a seat right beside me despite the fact the airport was empty and there were plenty of empty seats available. I just shrugged it off and was about to listen to music when suddenly I heard the man say." I wonder how Katerina will feel knowing she did all this to protect you and your stupid ass still couldn't stay away." He said and before I could react he grabbed my arm and injected something into my veins using a needle. The next thing I knew I was knocked out and all I saw was darkness.

Katerina's POV

Honestly besides the fact I was being held against my fucking will today wasn't going to bad. Nicklaus was apparently off doing work for Dimitri which meant I was left alone for the day. I had basically slept most of the day, someone had left me a blanket in the basement which was nice considering I was sleeping on the concrete floor. Although I had no idea who left it there, I was certain it wasn't Nicklaus, it could possibly have been Dimitri trying to act like he was the good guy in the situation. Either way I didn't question it, as my body was thankful for some type of padding to lay on.

I was currently sitting on the blanket, eating my one meal of the day which consisted of some very bland soup and crackers. At this point I was only eating to stay alive and I was typically so hungry, I didn't have the opportunity to dwell on the taste. Especially considering I had upset Nicklaus this week so he withheld food from me for three days, the only reason I was getting food today was because Nicklaus wasn't here to tell the person who served me not to feed me.

Once I was done eating, the young girl who served me took my dish then motioned for me to come closer so I walked over to her, she then glanced around making sure no one was watching and handed me a piece of honey cake which was my favorite Russian dessert."Spasibo." I said quietly thanking her for her kindness, as it was the nicest thing anyone had done for me this past month.

"You're welcome my queen." She whispered back then quickly left without another word. As I suddenly realized she was the same woman who had helped me after Nicklaus tortured me. A soft smile played at my lips as I quickly ate the slice of cake before anyone could take it from me. The moment I finished the cake, Dimitri walked in.

"You have a visitor, Katerina." Dimitri said.

"I can see that. Believe it on not the multiple cuts to my eyes have not made me blind." I mumbled rolling my eyes.

"You would think after a fucking month down here you'd learn some manners child." Dimitri said clearly annoyed." And I wasn't referring to myself." He added which made me think he was talking about Nicklaus.

"Well if it's Nicklaus, I'll skip on today's visit and preferably all further visits." I said while rolling my eyes once more.

"It's not Nicklaus either. Now ready for your visitor?" Dimitri asked and I was suddenly confused as Nicklaus and Dimitri were the only visitors I had.

"Does it really matter what I say?" I asked raising an eyebrow and Dimitri laughed.

"Not it doesn't, I'm glad you've realized that." Dimitri replied then snapped his fingers and two of his men tossed a body into the room and it hit the ground with a thud.

"Colby!" I exclaimed and immediately ran over to him and checked his pulse and let out a sigh of relief as I heard his heartbeat meaning he was still alive just knocked out. "Why the hell is he here? I've been following your stupid ass rule?!" I asked looking at Dimitri, I could fill rage filling my entire body at the fact that he dragged Colby into this. I picked up Colby and laid him on the blanket carefully.

"Maybe this'll change your mind about marrying me Katerina? You can stand all the torture in the world but can he? Plus your little boy toy was digging his nose where it didn't belong. He was already coming to Russia to find you, I just helped him." Dimitri said with a smirk." I'll give you two some time to get reacquainted." He said then walked out without another word.

"I'm so sorry, I never meant for this to happen. I tried so hard to prevent this." I said with a heavy sigh as I grabbed some nearby alcohol and a towel, then began to clean the wounds that were left on Colby's face. I then kissed his forehead and let him rest on the blanket as I began to walk around the basement in thought. I had to get him the hell out of here. He wouldn't last down here. I wouldn't stand seeing him get tortured, I refused. He never asked for any of this.

"Savan.." Colby said weakly.

"Shhh, rest up. We can talk later." I said soothingly and he went back to sleep. He'd need all his strength to even have a shot at surviving down here. After all they had no reason to keep Colby alive, so I was certain they'd torture him far worse knowing it would effect me.
