Hugh put his jacket over my legs until Beth came back with the towels, he had placed Beth's phone on speaker so he placed it on the floor beside him I could hear the lady given him instructions.

"Alex open your legs so I can see if your showing."

"Hugh it hurts so much please just get it out!"

"Remember to breath deep breaths ok your doing great."

"Ok Mr Hendrix is she showing yet?"

"Yes I can see his head."

"Ok on the next contraction get Alex to push!"

"Alex you heard that next one is time to push baby out ok."

"Hugh please I can't, no I can't not here I need to be in hospital."

"Here's the towels Hugh do you want anything else?"

"No Beth could you go wait in your office just to give Alex privacy please or go get a coffee."

"Yeh sure."

"Right Alex listen to me you haven't got time to go to the hospital he is already here and we need him out ok!"

"Ok, the pain Hugh it's painful I'm so tired!"

"Your doing brilliant baby just keep going, come on Alex push!!"

"Arghhhhhh!!!!!"

"That's it keep going baby he's coming."

"Hugh I, I caaaan't!!"

"Push Alex, push!"

I felt a sense of relief and I knew I had done it but it was silent,

"What's wrong Hugh?"

"He's ok Alex just needs a little tap on the bum, come on little man let me here you."

"Is he dead? Oh please no don't!"

I heard it, it was like music to my ears the sound of his little cry was beautiful I started to sob with happiness,

"Alex baby you did it, Beth !!!!!"

"Yes Mr Hendrix."

"Could you please bring the warm towels my son is here."

I looked into Hugh's eyes then his face was full of love and happiness as he looked down at this tiny baby in his arms,

"Here you go baby I think it's time you say hello to your amazing mother!"

Hugh placed our son on my chest he was amazing to think I had just given birth to this beautiful baby boy he was so small, so fragile I would do anything for him as the love I felt at that moment was like no other I had ever felt, As they say a mothers love is like no other!

10 minutes went by when the paramedics came in, I was so exhausted the last thing I remember was the paramedic cutting the umbilical cord.
