You whimpered as a rush of bitter cold air blew through the room.

You rubbed your arms and rolled over to try to fall back asleep, but the breeze came over you again.

You reluctantly opened your eyes and saw that the window was open. Calum must've forgotten to close it before he fell asleep.

You looked over at your boyfriend. He was sound asleep on his side, lips parted just a little as small snores escaped from his lips. He had a long day and was catching up on some much-needed sleep. You would've relished in the adorable sight if you weren't so cold.

You got out of bed and tiptoed over to the window. You pulled it closed and locked it before a long sigh left your lips as you crept back over to the bed. But there was only one small problem; Calum had rolled onto his stomach in the few seconds you had gotten up and he had pulled your blanket with him.

You felt terrible. You didn't wanna wake him, but you were so cold and didn't see any other option. You hesitated but tapped his back until he opened his eyes and raised his head from his pillow with a grunt.

"Hmm? Y/n what is it?" He mumbled tiredly.

"Shh," you paused, rubbing his shoulder softly. "Sorry to wake you but I'm freezing and you're laying on my blanket."

He rolled over on his back and arched it off of the bed so you could pull it out from under him. You wrapped it around your shoulders and sat with your back against the pillows.

"Cold?"

"Yeah. You left the window open."

You heard him sigh as he sat up against his pillows and rubbed his eyes tiredly. "I'm sorry."

you rubbed his shoulder again. "Don't worry about it. It's fine. I'll be warmed up in a few minutes. You just go back to sleep."

He shook his head and pushed away his blankets before padding over to the closet. He came back to bed and handed you his hoodie, making your heart swell a little.

You grabbed it and pulled it over your head. "Better?" Calum mumbled. he was still so tired but was fighting his sleep for you.

You shrugged your shoulders. "A little. But you know what would really warm me up? Cuddles from my amazing boyfriend."

He laid back down and pulled you into his arms. After making sure you were covered up with your own blanket he draped part of his over you as well, making sure you were cozy and warm. "Better now?"

You laid your head on his chest and sighed happily. "Much. Thanks, Cal."

He closed his eyes and let his head fall back against his pillows. "Good. Sweet dreams, y/n."

You watched him for a moment; enjoying the sight of his eyelashes fluttering against his cheeks and his chest rising and falling softly and steadily. You pressed a kiss to his cheek before laying your head back on his chest and closed your eyes.

"Night, Cal. Love you." You figured he was asleep, but when you felt his hand on your back and his fingers spread out comfortably you knew he was still awake, even just slightly.

"Love you too, y/n," he whispered before you both fell back asleep, now much warmer and cozier in your boyfriend's hoodie and embrace.
