Juvia was surprised with what Gajeel did to her. She didn't know what happened next as everything faded to black. Moments later, she slightly opened her eyes, finding herself staring at a light gray ceiling. Memories of her father's death and the break-in flashed before her eyes.

"Father..." She sobbed, lifting herself up from a bed with a metal headboard. She wasn't wearing her stained nightgown anymore as it was hanging from a rack next to the door. She also realized that her watch was gone. Wearing a plain black t-shirt and dark gray leggings, she surveyed her surroundings, seeing no sign of Gajeel. "Gajeel-kun! Where are you!" She yelled, assuming that there were cameras watching her. She bit her lip and proceeded to open the door. To her surprise, it wasn't locked. The moment she stepped foot out of her room, she entered a new world.

Dozens of people wearing black were shuffling back and forth in the main hub. Hundreds of computer monitors and screens had people with headsets glued to them. The walls were completely sound proof that adjusting to the cacophony of the environment making her flinch. The technology was beyond her imagination.

"Don't worry m'am. You are very safe as long as you're in this headquarters. We will make sure you get home safely," A familiar voice spoke from the distance.

"Gajeel-kun!" Gajeel immediately froze when he saw her water lily's head poking out of the room.

"Excuse me. Someone will be with you shortly," He bowed before shutting the door and hastily approaching Juvia. He squeezed her head back in the door before closing going inside and closing it shut. "You just couldn't stay put, could you?" He said harshly.

"Gajeel-kun. We have to get back to the residence and get my father back!" She cried. Gajeel tensed and averted her pleading gaze.

"Juvia.... I'm sorry... but your father.... he's-"

"Juvia knows! She saw him with her own eyes!" She argued. She bit her lip, trying to hold back her tears. "B-But Juvia can't just leave him there..." she whimpered.

He hesitantly reached for her shoulder until Juvia buried his face into his chest. As she began to sob, he rubbed her head gently and held her firmly in his arms.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't protect him... I'll never be able to repay you..." Juvia rubbed her blood shot eyes and looked up at him. "But you deserve to know the truth,"

Gajeel brought tea for both of them as they sat on the couch behind the coffee table in the room.

"Your father hired me because of my skill set and my special abilities....." He began. Juvia still had a hard time accepting that he could transform his arm into a literal pole of iron. "I am a secret agent from the Fairy Tail Agency, or FTA for short," He said as he revealed a black tattoo on his left shoulder. "Your father wasn't aware of our secret organization until he met your mother, who was also a member of the FTA,"

"M-Mother!?" She exclaimed, almost spilling her tea over. "B-But, she seemed so-"

"Innocent," He interjected, stealing the words out of her mouth. "She was a remarkable woman, Juvia, having a unique perspective on life and unquestionable morals. You're just like her," He showed a genuine smile. Juvia smiled as well, picturing her beautiful figure ready to embrace all of her pain and suffering.

"She left FTA as your father swept her off her feet. Heh, typical Mario.. But she knew that she still had enemies after them. Those enemies Juvia..." He paused for a moment, looking at her straight in the eyes. "..were the ones who murdered your father," Juvia gave him a stern look, focusing on trying to simmer down her rage.
