Chapter 25: A Little Longer

As they walked through the courtyard, fireflies glistened under the moonlight. Crickets and birds were chirping giving her The Little Mermaid's Kiss The Girl vibes (I know, very specific). She did not understand why she couldn't spark conversations. They always walked alone together late at night after training. She thought she had grown accustomed to it. But now that she's aware that Gray confessed his feelings, it made it much harder to confess hers. All she could do was briskly walk into the building and head for her dorm. She wished she was as composed as Gray was.

Gray had expected her to act that way but he was eagerly waiting for it to come out of her lips. Before he was about to say something, Juvia was a split second ahead of him.

"Waahhhh~ Why aren't you saying anything, Gray-sama!?" She whined.

"What should I be saying?" He chuckled.

"You are just so casual! Acting like nothing happened!" She huffed, crossing her arms and looking away. He swiftly walked closer and moved his mouth near her ear.

"What happened? Can you describe it to me?" He purred, feeling the heat emitting off her body. He laughed and let her cool off. "I'm going to be straightforward from now whether you like it or not," She buried her face in her hair, keeping her mouth shut. "I'm going to say 'I love you' a million times over whether you like it or not," She gasped for air, to prevent herself from screaming in joy. When they made it to the middle of the hallway where they usually part ways, she halted for a brief moment to stare at him. What she wanted to do was hug him and tell him how much she cares about him. But instead, she punches his arm lightly and turns the other cheek.

"Goodnight Gray-sama!" She exclaimed, marching off. AHHH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING JUVIA!? YOU MISSED YOUR CHANCE! She yelled at herself in her thoughts.

"Goodnight Juvia," He spoke, walking right behind her once again.

"Gray-sama!?"

"I felt like escorting you to your room, okay? Just like old times," He said with a wink. She showed him a look of frustration but she was glad that he was giving her a second chance. They made it to her room seconds after. Juvia opened her door slowly and stepped inside. Gray made sure he didn't make it past the doorframe. She turned to face him, staring in each other's eyes once again. "I'm really proud of you,"

"Gray-sama..."

"You have grown so much ever since we met. You belong here Juvia with all of us. And of course..." He reached out his hand and gently patted her head. "..you're the best partner I could ever ask for," Juvia's eyes sparkled in the moonlight seeping through the windows. She could not get enough of his smile that so many people could rarely see. "See you tomorrow," And with that, he was about to leave her be.

"Don't go...." She whispered when she wanted to scream at the top of her lungs. Unfortunately, he was unable to hear her. Suddenly, she grabbed his arm and pulled him towards her. Gray's eyes widened when Juvia cupped his face in her hands and smashed her lips onto his. She missed the sensation so incredibly much that she held on for as long as she could before they both needed to catch their breath. They looked at each other, not expecting what had happened, especially Juvia. She then realized what she had just done about to spontaneously combust. "Ahh~ I'm so sorry Gray-sama! J-Juvia didn't mean to-"

"Stop apologizing," He pulled her in for another kiss, and then some. Juvia had never felt anything so passionate. She closed the door, bringing him closer to her bed. "Are you sure?" He whispered softly. She smiled at him and nodded, taking off his tuxedo and button-up. She placed her hand on his bare chest as Gray unzipped her dress and unclipped her bra. He then lifted her up, kissing her deeply as they both graciously laid down on the bed ANNNNDDDDDD YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Gray was the first to wake up by her side. His body was entangled with hers under the sheets but he didn't plan on moving a muscle anyway. Seeing her sleeping face up close was an expression he did not anyone else to see. He noticed how long and beautiful her eyelashes were. He rubbed her cheek gently and chuckled. He was mad at himself for not realizing his feelings earlier. He wanted to make sure he had given Juvia his support when battling with Bora. He barely had any recollection of facing Master Jose but for now, he wanted to spend as much time as he could with the love of his life. He brought her closer to him so that he could smell her hair and kiss her head which was enough to wake her up.

"Morning," He said as Juvia rubbed her eyes to get a better view of him.

"Morning Gray- AHHH!!!" She squealed peeking from underneath noticing that she was bare naked and she accidentally got another view of his di- "AAHHHHHH!!! WHY ARE YOU HERE GRAY-SAMA!!?!?" She covered her eyes with her hands, hot as a red tomato.

"I think you know why I'm here," He laughed.

"AHHH!!!! NOO!!! J-Juvia only saw this in romance movies!! She never thought she actually- Juvia is so sorry father!!" She rambled on which Gray found absolutely adorable.

"I wasn't expecting it either but we did it," He said resting his head on his hands. She continued to muffle her screams. "You did well for your first time if that makes you feel any better," He immediately regretted what he said when Juvia's head peeked from underneath the sheets, her big googly eyes staring right at him.

"D-Don't tell me y-you have done this before...." She stuttered. He slowly looked the other way which made Juvia's blood boil. She furiously twisted away from him. "Juvia can't believe she fell for someone so-"

"It's my first time too....don't worry...I am just surprised as you are..." He muttered in a serious tone. Juvia paused for a moment of relief and turned to her other side. He stared at her lovingly, tucking a blue strand behind her ear. "You always find a way to make me go crazy," He whispered, which urged Juvia to pull him in for a soft kiss. He then kissed her chin and moved his way down until her stomach (DON'T WORRY! THE INUENDOS STOP SOON LOL. I apologize for anyone who is uncomfortable reading this part haha). She trembled slightly, hugging his head and smelling his scent.

"Your hair smells so fresh...like the ocean," She giggled.

"Yours smells like flowers...." He said softly. Her leg was draped on top of his waist so he was able to see her Fairy Tail insignia. He gently traced it with his finger which tickled her a little. He then kissed it quickly and creeped his way back up to Juvia's face.

"Juvia fell for you the moment we met..." She said inching closer to him. He laughed quietly, wrapping her arms around her and kissing her forehead.

"God...I'm so glad I met you.." He whispered softly. She placed her hand on his mark and wrapped her arms around him.

"Can you please stay a little longer, Gray-sama?" She asked. Gray was able to hear her heartbeat so fast making his heart race.

"Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere," He responded, burying his face in her hair. She giggled nuzzling her head into his warm chest. Although they cuddled for only a while, it felt like an eternity.
