"george?"

alex started to panic.

"george where are you?"

alex had spent the last 5 minutes going through george's room like a mad-man, searching every corner, under the bed, on top of the bed, even in his bathroom.

he couldn't find him anywhere.

where the fuck could he have gone?

alex had checked the kitchen, the bathrooms, the living room, the closets, the bathrooms (again) and even the flat's corridors. 

he was freaking out and he didn't know why.

he tried telling himself to calm down, but he just couldn't.

what if george left because he was mad for something alex said last night?

what if he went to their friends' houses and told them?

what if they all turned against him?

alex couldn't calm down no matter how hard he tried.

his head hurt, his heart hurt, and he could still feel the effects of the hangover.

what he needed was a shower.

letting the warm water cascade over his back, alex was anything but calm.

the steam made it hard to breathe.

and the guilt made it harder.

he tried telling himself it was going to be alright.

that george just went somewhere.

like the store or to a restaurant or even to a pub.

but nothing could convince him.

george went somewhere to tell his friends about alex.

soon all his friends would leave.

they would stop hanging out around him.

make some sort of excuse as to why.

"oh well uh, george wants to hang out with us, sorry."

as alex was making up his own scenario of the future, he heard a door open.

quickly, he shut off the water and grabbed his clothes.

he didn't care that he was soaking wet, what he cared about was his friend.

as he opened the door, he almost hit george.

george looked at alex.

"geez mate, watch out."

alex watched as george continued walking towards his room.

there were so many questions he wanted to ask.

but he didn't want to ask a george a question.

he wanted to give george an answer.

"george i love you."
