Nights After Storm

Chapter 2

Hi! Guys I just wanna thank my bestie Ruby for supporting me after my first  chapter.

Evie's POV
I was standing by my locker close to Liam's own since we were new we got  the locker that where available next to each other it made me feel like though we where a little bit close I like him but just because he was nice.

"well...... I was thinking since we don't really know anyone here why don't we go for lunch and sit together" he said I wasn't looking at him but I could hear the smile in his voice.

"sure I was wondering where I was going to sit during lunch so now that you asked let's go" I said emotionless

I slammed the door of my locker shut after arranging the books perfectly, we hadn't any class yet because Mrs red head wanted to show us the entire school.

"so what are you having for lunch today" he said looking straight ahead.

"I'll probably just order the salad or something, all this look doesn't just pop out of no where" i said laughing hard without even caring, he had a confused expression on his face for some time then joined in we laughed till our stomachs hurt. His sweet chuckles just made me laugh the more and I had no idea why I was doing soo.

sitting at the table he asked "so where are you from"

"uh-m, LA" I said not really sure of why I didn't want to tell him.

"oh nice, I love your hair color especially the died tips" he said with a broad smile. "I'm surprised I didn't notice that earlier"he murmured to him self but I heard and just let it go.

"Thanks" I said feeling my cheek light up instantly I didn't know why it was doing so and I tried to stop but it was not working.

I just started picking my salad not really hungry any more and I asked the question that has been disturbing me to at list start up a conversation.

"so how does it feel being the new kid in school" I asked moving my fork towards my mouth.

"uh it actually sucked at first but I then came across you" he gave me a flirty smile and I lost it I was blushing like crazy.

"why is it so easy to make you blush " he tilted his head towards me.

"What? No its not!" I protested

"to be honest I did feel like it was going to be a sad day you made it a little bit better" I let out a giggle at his slight frown "but I still have a feeling it will go horribly wrong"

Just then the bell rang I've got to get used to it or I could get a heart attack someday from just this school bell.

"I think I'll head to class now" I said giving him a small smile

"Which class do you have now" he looked a bit disappointed.

How will he be disappointed why will he even be disappointed that we are going to class is it because we have separate classes? I asked myself Did he want to hang out with me more? I just shook this thoughts out of my head and answered his Question

"Uhm I think it's biology"i said pulling out my schedule "ah! Yes biology what about you" I said turning to look at him.

"maths" he said with a sigh.

"seems you don't like maths much" I laughed.

"actually I do but I'm not sharing it with my princess" he said with a dirty smirk on his face

"your princess really when did that start?"

"well just now"

I shock my head and laughed.

"we better get to class" I said standing up.

We walked to our lockers quietly and didn't say a word I don't know it actually felt weird. I Was bent into my locker looking for my biology book when I was approached by a group of girls just two though.

"hi!, you must be new here " girl with glasses and beautiful golden hair said to me "I'm Nikki".

"And I'm Emerald" said one with Auburn hair and a broad smile

I smiled back "Yah! I'm new and I'm Evelyn by the way, you could just call me Evie"

"nice too met you" they both said

"same here I better head to biology"

"wait that's the class we have now so let's go together" Emerald said excited. I just kept on smiling I turned to look at Liam he was lost in his own world.

"Liam!?, bye I'm off" I said turning on my heels

"you know him!"Nikki squeaked "I feel like I'm in love" we all bursted out laughing by that time the hallway was almost empty.

"I know him alright that's Liam"

"Liam" she said dreamily.

"are we going to hasten up and get to class or are you going to drool over him all day" my laughter seeming not to end.

Biology was actually pretty ok next I had Gym, I went to the girls wash room to change to my gym clothes with Nikki and Emerald they seemed nice so I hung out with them.

We went to the field and i saw a lot of people Liam was there too, Maddie the head cheerleader was there with her squad, I didn't do anything much just tried to adapt to how things worked.  So I Nikki, Emerald, Liam and two other dudes one blond who's name was Tyler and one with dark hair just like mine and freckles was Will, turns out Liam made new friends during maths. We just Sat there talking till school was over.

Almost immediately I heard my phone ring it was my mom.

"guys I've got to go it's my mom" I said standing to leave I decided to just go home with my gym clothes I actually loved it, it was just normal free black shorts with white shirt.

"bye"they all said together

I went out of the school to see my mom in the parking lot already. i smiled and worked towards her

"mom why did you come so early"

"I figured you might want to get out of school early"

"well school actually went well today"

"really!? tell me all about it"

"mom!" I said turning up my nose as to why she is soo concerned

I was stretched out on the sofa watching a movie when the door bell rang, I got up and answered it just to see a familiar face staring at me.

"hi"she said with a bold smile "my mom always says to welcome the neighbors when they are new so I brought this" I was still looking at her unsure then I said

"do I know you form somewhere"

"well if it helps you remember anything my name is Olivia"

"OMG!!!!"
