Chapter 14

After hours of makeup and dress picking we were finally ready.

"Jay says he is out side let's go" I said but Liv was reluctant "come on!! Liv Eddie ain't there I promise he is not even a fan of parties" she sighed and followed me.

We walked down the stairs and to the living room but my mom wasn't there I checked the kitchen not there either so I grabbed my keys, locked the door and sent my mom a text.

I heard an ear piercing scream which made me jump and drop my phone.

"What the hell!" I scolded "you scared the shit out of me."

"He scared the shit out of me"Liv said pointing to the dark.

"Who?"

"Jay"

"There is no one there for Pete's sake L–" I didn't get to finish my statement when a hand snaked over my mouth without wasting time I elbowed the person in the guts I grabbed his arm and pinned him to the ground I knew it was Jay the moment he covered my mouth I smelt him "Liv put on your phone touch"

She put it on, low and behold  Jay Zanders "well well well what do we have here?" He was still struggling cause I had a great grip but for a footballer it aint gonna take long "dude you are supposed to be taking us to a party not putting us in some horror movie" I said smacking his arm and releasing him.

"You know I don't want to go to that party" he whined.

"Why because he is my ex?"

"Yes" he said scratching the back of his head.

I felt bad that I was forcing my friends to go with me but something was calling me to that party my instincts were full on screaming go in my head and I really wanted to go.

"You know what you guys can stay I will go myself lemme go grab my keys" I said as nicely as I could I started walking towards the porch when Jay grabbed my hand. How do I know? From the shiver that ran down my spine and the Sparks I felt where his hand touch.

"Are you using your car?" I knew he always wanted to drive it he had begged me several times being new and all plus he loved the brand.

"Yes Jay I'm using my car and since you aren't going you can't drive it" he sighed while I chuckled cause I know I've won.

"Okay fine get your key and we will go"

"Yayyyyy" i squealed

I dashed into the house grabbed my keys and dashed back out. I opened the car got in waited for everyone to settle.

"Come on guys buckle your seat belts you can never be too safe! And I'm not driving till you do soo" I said and they groaned.

I pulled out of the driveway and headed for Kyle's house.

"Okay guys we are here but it's like another 5 minutes walk cause there isn't anything parking space left" I said

"Let's get this over with" Liv mumbled and Jay just had a smile on his face.

As we got closer to the house you could hear the music in the distance at least it's a lot softer than usual cause I know Kyle throws wild parties and I stand uncorrected, on his porch there were a few teenagers throwing up their guts and inside there were sweaty teenagers jumping, dancing, grinding and sucking each other's face off. Jay did his bro shake thing with his buddies and was off while Liv and I where together until someone showed up. Nicki. What does she want.

"Hey Evelyn long time no see" she said.

"Back off!" Liv growled.

"It's ok Liv." I said "Hey Nicki yeah long time no talk too"

"Yeah about that please give me a minute I wanna explain something to you" I looked at Liv and she gave an approving nod.

"Sure" I said and she lead me outside.

"Before I start promise you won't interrupt" I nodded "Look Evie I just want to say that I never wanted your boyfriend I didn't want things to end this way it was a  shock me that's why I didn't pull away I came asking where you were at homecoming and he just did it I admit I was a bit jealous of you when he asked you but if you are happy I am so I didn't want to take him if I did I will have been with him this whole month but what he did to you made me realize that he isn't worth it" she ranted and I just felt bad .

"I never realized that Nikki sorry for pushing you away ever since he really isn't worth it .......it's all ok now" I smiled and she gave me a weak one too she took me by surprise and hugged me it's been so long since this happened, so this is why my instincts was telling me to come to this party it was destined for us to make up this is so funny to me I couldn't help but chuckle.

She pulled away "what's so funny?"

"Oh nothing why don't we go back to the party"

"Yeah sure like old times"

"Just like old times but I'm having a few drinks" I shot her a wink while she shook her head and laughed.

We walked into the house and I didn't see Liv obviously how will I expect her to stand in a particular place and wait for me so I strolled into the kitchen and saw her grabbing a Coke.

"Yoo Liv"

"Hey, you want some?" She asked stretching a Coke out to me.

"Nah, I'm going out of my comfort zone trying something new"

"Suit yourself"

I went to the table where a lot of shots were lined up I grabbed one and hesitated. How is it going to taste? Will I regret it? A lot  of thoughts were going through my head I shook it of and drowned the golden liquid it burned its way down my throat and I felt like something struck my brain but in a nice way I wanted more I took another one this time green. And I just kept going, I have honestly lost count of how many I drank. I just felt at ease my thoughts where cleared I felt like I was floating I felt.......peace.

Where is Jay I haven't seen him in like forever. I spotted Kyle and walked over to him well I tried to but it was like the ground was uneven I took careful steps till I reached him.

"Hey! H-Have you se-seen Jay?" I slurred.

"Evelyn are you drunk?" He asked stunned.

"That is non of your business tell me where my baby is!" I hiccupped

"Last I saw him he was at the back with the group"

"Ok thank you!"

I made my way to the back of the house and everything was spinning some douche came to hit on me.

"Hey babe haven't seen you around here" he said.

"Get out of my way!"

"Come on now be nice lets have some fun" he trailed his arm up and down my thigh.

"Don't touch me you prick, I will be having fun and you will be in pains if you don't leave now" I said who shoving him.

He still came back pinning me against the wall with his body

"I'm looking for my baby JAYMOND!!!!"  I screamed before I started throwing punches and clawing and scatching anything that could hurt this piece of shit in front of me.

"Asshole" I spat before hitting Him badly in the place the sun don't shine
