Nights After Storm

Chapter 8

The ride home wasn't long and the question I never wanted to come up simply did I never felt so down casted  or insecure by a past relationship and it was a bit strange because we aren't even in a relationship.

"so what was Maddie talking to you about the other Night?" he said parking in front of my house.

"I don't think I should bother you about that she was just acting bitchy" I said turning to look at him.

"you know you can tell me anything right?" he said taking my hand in his.

"I know, it's just that........... To be honest" i said squeezing his hand "I wasn't even listen to her at all I was in my own world"  I said laughing.

He shook his head and I hugged him goodbye and went into the house, my mom wasn't home so I just went to take a shower.

After I was done I threw on a high waist jean, a plain shirt and some flip-flops.

Just as I went downstairs to watch TV there was a knock on the door I went to check who it was. Lee.

I opened the door and immediately he picked me up and spun me around while I giggled.

I love this guy but those he feel the same way.

He kissed me on my cheek and asked if I wanted to have lunch.

"sure let me just call my mom and tell her" I said pulling my phone from the bag.

My mom picked on the first ring.

Hey mom

Hey sweetie how are you

Im fine, I see you aren't home yet

Oh yes, I am working late today

OK then I will be out with Liam for some time

Sure have fun, bye

Bye love you

Love you too

I ended the call locked the house and headed to Lee's car.

We had decided to have lunch at a Chinese restaurant.

We took our seats and a really cute waiter came up to take our order.

I couldn't help but stare at him while he winked getting him a death glare from Lee making me giggle.

He gave us our menus and headed to the back not before sending me another wink making Lee sigh.

"what's with the look? " I asked him with a raised brow.

He didn't answer he just smiled as the cute waiter came back with a notepad.

I ordered Chinese rice and he ordered the Chow Mein (stir fried noodles).

We ate our lunch in silence and I was still wondering what he wanted to talk about.

The waiter came out handing me the bill with a smirk.

It was snatched out of my hand before I could even look at it.

"hey!" I screamed in annoyance while he glanced down at the bill, "what the hell!" he let out a scream of his own leaving me puzzled.

"who write their number on a bill and gives it to someone's girlfriend!" I was shocked and frozen.

I don't know if it was the fact that the dude wrote his number on the bill or that he just called me his GIRLFRIEND!?!?.

When the waiter left I have him a confused look and he sighed.

"yeah...... Uhm.......right that was what I wanted to talk about" he said rubbing the back of his head while I still didn't move and he continued "like where we stand right now and all".

I just took his hand in mine and let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding "it's OK I just need time, we are Probably more than friends right?"  I asked while he nodded "let's just start slowly and see where it goes"

"hey, you home yet?" Liv's sweet voice pierced through the phone.

"yeah,  wassup?" I asked.

"ok be there right away".

Just as she cut off the phone the door bell rang I wasn't surprised to see Liv by the door she lived opposite me so......

She practical shoved me and walked into the room she seemed excited.

"hold your horses" I said laughing "what is making you so excited?".

"well......... I have good news" she said walking into the parlor.

"and what might that be? " I asked

"let's start by having a girls night today"

"sure what do you wanna do?" we both looked at each other and screamed "MOVIES!"

"ok so I'll get the drinks and get the popcorn ready"  I said walking to the kitchen.

"ok I'll order pizza and search for a movie" she replied.

Soon enough we were deep into the movie when the door bell rang I got up to answer it.

"oh hi nice to see you" it was the last person I will ever expected to be here. Ruby.

"hey, I thought I should come over sometime" she said smiling broadly.

"great timing we are just watching a movie" I said mirroring her smile.

"really which movie is that" she sounded excited.

"To all the boys"

"can I join in I love that movie" she squealed.

"yeah sure" I said laughing at her childishness while letting her get in.

We where done with the movies and decided to play a game after our bonding session.

"Which game do you guys want to play" Olivia asked.

"let's play most likely" I said jumping up.

"great idea" Ruby chipped in.

"I'm starting" Liv said rubbing her arms together "who is most likely going to jail".

With out wastage of time both hand pointed at me. "Oh My God you guys!!?! What will I be going to jail for?" I questioned

"well you probably killed someone" Liv said.

"or you get a ticket and you don't pay because you are stubborn" Ruby chipped in.

"or... " Liv continued before she was cut off by me.

"ok fine I get it"  I said raising my hand in surrender while we all burst out laughing.

"ok my turn, who is most likely burning up their kitchen while try to cook" I said still laughing.

We looked at each other and pointed at Ruby" I agree she said shaking her head.

"who is most likely scratching their car?" it was definitely Liv she hadn't learnt how to drive properly. I have but I don't have a car yet.

Sorry for the late update I've been busy and stressed out lately and my wattpad is having a little issue.
