Jay's POV

"JAYMOND" I heard someone scream apart from my family there is only one person who knows that name and my reason for shorting it. Evelyn. Oh God what's wrong. I didn't think twice before I headed for where her voice came from what I saw when I got there shocked me I was silenced for at least five minutes in front of me was my beloved bae beating the shit out of Justin I snapped out if my shocked state and bursted out laughing at my laughter she rose her head and looked at me.

"Oh Jay that's you right? I'm coming I've got to finish my lesson with this douche" she slurred. was she drunk? Well it's kinda obvious I don't even know why I'm asking myself. I walked up to her and tried prying her of him but mehn! She has a great grip.

"Come on let go of him and you can tell me what he did and maybe I will help you finish it up" if I'm being honest I don't think I need to finish anything the blonde was already passed out with a bleeding nose and a cut on his lip the scene was just so hilarious.

"Maybe!?" She yelled "are you serious saying maybe!? He tried to rape me baby" she said still struggling to continue what she has already finished.

"Evie serious he is passed out I can't do anything about it" I said missing the part where is just called me baby well I didn't really miss it but still.

"Fine" she huffed melting into me "aren't you cute" she said tracing my jaw line with her finger. This girl doesn't know what she is doing to me.

"Let's get you to sleep before you do or say something you will regret"

"No I wanna have fun!" She stomped her foot like a child which I couldn't help but chuckle at her childish attitude I like this side of her.

"Okay how about we take the party to your house?" I asked.

"Fair enough"

"Good let's go" at this point letting her walk was useless because she couldn't even stand on her legs everything about today was just Soo funny so I swopped her up and carried her bridal style.

As I laid her on the I couldn't help but admire how beautiful and peaceful she looked in her sleep her jet black hair scattered all over the pillow her full pink lips formed into a pout i wander what she is dreaming about, she is one hell of a beauty I want her to be all mine no one else's.

I am blessed to always have her close to me everyday and when I need her.

Evie's POV

I woke up to warmth radiating from something cuddling me I turned my head and saw Jay looking like an angel while he slept.

I was soo carried away that I didn't feel the banging headache I had but when I did feel it I let out a curse jolting Jay up from sleep, the pain was terrible my vision became blurry and I became dizzy.

It's been really long since I drank but I didn't expect this kind of outcome well in life expect anything, the sleep in Jay's eyes seemed to vanish immediately he looked at me and saw my pain.

"Hey!Hey! You okay?" Concern laced through his voice.

"No my head hurts badly" I cried.

"You are going to be fine don't worry, here take this" he said handing me a glass of water and some aspirin and sleeping tablets "your mother told me to give you when you wake up this morning and also give her a call when you feel better as for now you can stay with me so I can look after you".

"I'm not a child Jay" I huffed.

"Well of course you aren't seeing as you beat up a really fit guy in your drunken state you can definitely take care of yourself but not when I'm here"

"I did what!?"

"You beat up some blonde guy?"

That was when everything about yesterday came flooding back I had beaten up some guy because he wouldn't stop getting all touchy.....ughhhh I face palmed myself for being so stupid.

"It's alright babe I like violent drunks" he winked.

I slapped him on his chest and he winced at the Impact "don't be stupid Jay not right now".

"Fine I'll let your rest your mom said you needed loads of rest so...."

"Thank you" I sighed softly running a hand through my black hair.

I grabbed his blanket and threw it over my smallish frame covering myself from head to toe.

I was woken up by a piercing pain in my chest my whole body followed suit and began to ache me my breathing became harsh and difficult I tried my best to get air but it just wasn't working it was as though my lungs were being squeezed and my windpipe clogged I let out a dry and strangled cough my attacks had never been this bad in the past.

"Jay!" I screamed but no response dark spots started to fill my vision I screamed for help again before I let out a defeated sigh and i succumbed to the darkness.

Harsh beeping of a machine jolted me awake, I turned my head to my right and saw a heart rate monitor.

Wires from different machines connecting to me, they only instilled fear in me and I started trashing around before I felt a hand touching my shoulder I froze ready to scream.

"Evie? Hey, you are safe" I heard Jay's velvety voice behind me and I relaxed turning to looks at him he looked a mess.

"Hey" I gave him a genuine smile "you look like shit" I laughed at him.

He had bags under his eyes and his hair was sticking out in every which way it was as if he hadn't saved in 3 months or even had his bath.

"But I'm doing alright so...... I don't mind" he chuckled.

I was only just then I took time to study my surroundings the walls where white and neat that you will fear to touch them in order to not get them dirty, the marble tiles sparkled reflecting the light from the fluorescent above giving the room a nice glow.

Turning to him I whispered "Where is mom?".

As if on cue the door swung opened revealing the doctor in his blue scrubs and a lab coat with a clipboard held firmly in his left hand.

"Good morning Ms William"he greeted. "I'm Dr Rogers"

"Hey Dr Rogers" I smiled

"How are you doing this morning? Any pains? Or discomfort?" He asked

"Apart from the slight pain in my chest I'm feeling okay"

"Okay good, now there is something I need to tell but I need a legal guardian around"

"My mom should be back soon but you can tell me"

"Fine, You've been diagnosed with......."
