Chapter 9:

I let Michael drive because I feel a little dizzy. I don't know if it's because of the defibrillator suit or something else, I'm not infected but I'm freaking out. Mass caught on my concern

Mass: Ray, you okay? You're shaking?

Ray: N-No, I'm f-f-fine...

Carol: You should really take off that suit, I think it's getting to your head, literally.

Ray: I don't really know...

Michael: Just calm down, Ray, we'll figure this out.

*Radio click*

John: Hey, it's me, you got the call yet?

Ray: No report from Col. Faulkner, turn on your radio so you can hear the order.

John: Roger that, Zcom operatives, activate your radio, over.

James: Activated, over.

Peter: Roger, Roger. What's your vector, Victor?

Matthew: You just had to make that joke, huh?

Judas: Over, *background* can you guys hear it?

Philip: Loud and clear.

Bartholomew: I'm at the back, can someone say it to me?

Andrew: Under.

James: Fuck sakes, andrew!

Carol: Did you guys seriously name yourself over the 12 disciples?

Ray: It ain't their code name.

Mass: That's their actual name?! I thought it was... I don't know whether to say Jesus now.

Ray: The church agreed to it. It's kinda funny actually.

John: Our fathers are very religious.

Michael: Haha! Filipinos... So, how did Nathan come?

Ray: Well-

I then feel a buzz from my pocket, I absently reach for my phone, until I realised that I left my phone in my other pants. Which I realised again that the only phone was the phone Col. Grant gave me. I then reach out to it and the screen is lit with green letters saying. INCOMING CALL...

Ray: Everyone shut up! Zcom, we got a call!

John: Answer it!

Judas: Shh! Quiet in the back!

Ray: Hello?

The device lets out a squealing tone followed by a crackle of static. As the noises subside, I heard a clear, female voice

Operator: This is Alpha Black 1. Identify yourself

John: *Whispers* Alpha black 1?

James: Is that a different one?

Ray: I am trying to reach Col. Grant, who am I speaking to?

Operator: Hold for the colonel.

We then wait for a few minutes until our vehicles reached our neighbourhood. Me and my squad came confused.

James: Alpha black 1? That's used to be Col. Grant's brigade. That was a year ago!

John: Did something happened to him?

Ray: We don't know yet, stay calm people.

Mass: That's weird...

I took a moment to glance down at the communication device to ensure the call didn't drop, but it remains active. Icons blink on the screen, none of which were lit when I checked it before, so I press one with a mail symbol. A window pops up and fills in the display
