I awoke later to my phone vibrating. I looked to see who it was and to my not so surprised expression it was my father calling . Ugh what does he want? I let it go to voicemail and tried to relax once more, I saw that the sky was turning darker, "That's probably why he was calling me, it was getting late" I thought outloud. My phone vibrated again but this time it was a text from him.

" Where the fuck are you you piece of shit?!"

"why do you care?"

I sat there waiting for his reply, my phone vibrated again

"Dont get smart with me get your ass home before I choke your scumless ass to death NOW!!"

"K" I put my phone on silent not wanting to know that he sent me another message.

I looked up to see a girl not so far from me, she seemed to be shocked by our sudden eye contact. We stared at each other for about a minute she turned her head to avoid more eye contact, it looked like she noticed how it was dark and started to get up. I watched her stand slowly, it looked like she was hurt because suddenly she clutched her stomach and bent over a little bit. What's wrong with her? I thought to myself, next thing I know she threw up and fell. "Oh my god!" I yelled unexpectedly and bolted towards her. I began to shake, I was nervous and clueless about what to do because one I didn't know where she lived which was bad and two because I had no way to get her home since I left my damn car in the school's parking lot.

I studied her face and soon recognized who she was. She was the girl I saw getting bullied in the morning by those stupid people. What shocked me the most was the fact that she had bruises all over her body some looked fresh and some looked like they were fading is she getting beat at home? I looked at her face and removed the hair that was covering her eyes, she had a black eye, and a few scratches too. I hesitantly picked up her bag along with mines and began to grab her gently trying to avoid hurting her in any way. I held on to her tightly and realized that she wasn't very heavy so walking back to the school wouldn't be a problem. I began walking down the street that I ran through earlier and soon saw the school building, I stopped and looked for my car and recognized it out of the other cars that were parked there still. I walked towards it, opening the locks to the front doors, I sat her in the passenger seat making sure it was leaned back and put the seatbelt on her, she mumbled something but I couldn't make it out. I put the book bags in the trunk and sat in the driver seat. I looked at her with sympathy " What happened to you?" I whispered, I knew she wasn't going to answer but it was something I had to ask even though an answer wouldn't be said. I drove off and headed to my place.

I know you guys would think that I would take advantage of a girl who is passed out but no, I respect girls and I'm not that type of guy. I like a girl for who she is not for who she's not and I would never do anything that she is not fond of. I parked the car infront of my house, turned the car off, and headed to the passenger side to grab her not caring about our bookbags only about her condition. I went up the stairs and into my room not caring if he was here or not, and layed her on my bed gently. "What the hell am I suppose to do with a passed out girl and a abusive drunk of a father under the same roof?!" I yelled silently to myself. I paced back and forth and stopped noticing that the house was too quiet, normally there's some type of noise coming from him but he's not even making noise, wait is he even here? I walked out the room and checked the house. All rooms were empty even his room, I checked the kitchen noticing that there was a note on top of the counter.
