Home alone

It's been kind of boring last couple of days. Easter holiday started three days ago so everyone went home to their families. My mom had to go on a trip for her job so I don't have anyone to spend Easter with.

I was watching Captain America: The First Avenger when my phone started ringing.

"What's up?" I said answering the phone.

"Nothing much, I'm bored home alone," AJ answered.

"Same here. Andrew should come home in two days so I will finally have some company."

I met AJ a couple of weeks ago on a soccer game. He's playing in Andrew's team.

"Are you two a thing now?" AJ teased me.

"Ha ha, you are so funny, AJ." I said ironically.

"Hey, hey, you know I'm just kidding."

"Yea, I do." I looked at my TV for a moment. "Dang it, Bucky just fell from a train."

AJ was silent for a few moments. "What?" He finally asked.

"I'm watching a movie." I answered.

"Ooh, I see. Witch one?"

"Captain America: The First Avenger."

"Oh so you are a Marvel fan too."

"I am."

"That's cool. I like Marvel too."

We kept silent for some time.

"Anyway, how are you spending your time?" I asked.

"Laying in my bed, staring at my phone whole day and sleeping." He answered. "You?"

"Laying on my couch, staring at the TV whole day and sleeping." I answered with a giggle. "I really miss my friends."

"Yea, me too. We should go to a party when everyone comes back. We could also celebrate your birthday properly."

Yea, my birthday was two weeks ago and I didn't really celebrate it. Nina and Daisy came to my place and we watched some movies and ate a lot of snacks.

"Yea, maybe." I answered. "I don't really like celebrating my birthday. It's just an ordinary day, same as any other."

"It's not same as any other. You get presents and cake and people admire you and celebrate you."

"Why do we need a special day so people can admire us? That's stupid. You either like me or hate me. Why would you be kind to me that one day if you hate me the other 364?"

"You have a point. But still. It's special. The day your mother was the happiest when she saw and held you for the first time. If not celebrate you, let's celebrate her and thank her for bringing an icon to this world."

I laughed. "You're so sweet. Thank you."

"I got you, friend. Thank you for making my time pass faster. I should really go to bed now."

"Aren't you already in bed?" I asked chuckling.

"Dang you're right. I guess I should just go to sleep then."

I laughed again. "Let's talk again tomorrow. Time really flies by with you," I said with a slight smile on my face.

"Aww, that's sweet. I'll call you when I wake up. Deal?"

"Deal," I said and hang up.

Just a second later, my phone rang again. It was Andrew. I picked up, but my phone turned off. I quickly grabbed my charger. When my phone turned on I called Drew back.

After a few rings he picked up. "Hey," he said smiling. "What's up?"

"I miss you," I said with puppy eyes.

"Oh you're so sweet." He smiled again. "I'll see you in two days."

I nodded and smiled. We kept talking for the next two hours when he had to go. I hung up and went to sleep with a big smile on.
