The First Call

It's going to be epic

"So, what's the prank?" Andrew asked interested.

"The prank? Oh, yea, yea. Well, the prank is..." I couldn't think of anything. I felt so stupid.

"Come on Ash, tell me. I can't wait!" Andrew said impatiently.

"We're going to pretend we're a couple." I couldn't believe what have I just said.

"Ohh!! That's great Ash! You're so smart!" He laughed giving me a hug, it was so warm and lovely.

"Well thank you, Drew," I said still caught up in his hug.

"So, how should we start our 'relationship'?" Andrew asked breaking the hug.

I looked at him thinking of his question. "Well, I didn't think of that. I guess we'll think of something in the mean time." I smiled still looking at him.

"This is going to be epic," Andrew said smiling as well. I can't describe the feeling I felt, but it felt amazing.

We talked about the party for some more time. Then I went to my room to prepare it so my friends could get a nice first impression. Since my bed was king sized, we could all fit in. When I was about to get out of my room, I bumped into Andrew.

"Hey, um, I was just about to get in," he said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yea, I can see that." I laughed uncomfortably. "So, um, what did you want?"

"I wanted to ask when are we going to buy snacks and drinks for the party?" He explained himself.

"We can go now if you want." I answered heading to the kitchen.

"We're taking mine or your car?" He asked following me.

I laughed sarcastically at his last sentence. "You wish. I had failed my driving lessons 7 times."

"Aha, I see. Nevermind, let's go."

After buying everything for the party we went back to the apartment. Andrew helped me organise it. We had snacks in the living room and both of our rooms. Once we were done, we waited for our friends to come. While we were waiting, we made up a story how we got together, in case someone asked. We agreed to do everything couples do; hold hands, back hugs, soft kisses on the forehead, cheek, nose, neck and shoulder and stuff like that. But, neither of us mentioned kiss on the lips. To be honest, I was pretty scared thinking about it. I was sure someone would ask us to actually kiss. So I decided to talk about it with Andrew.

"Um, what if they ask us to kiss?" I asked shyly.

At first, he looked at me confused, but then he answered. "Then we'll tell them it was a prank."

I nodded at his answer. I don't know why I was scared about it, after all, it really was just a prank.

After some more time of waiting, they finally came.

Andrew opened the door. "Babe, your friends are here!" He called me while giving a smile to my friends.
