People assume that South London is such a dangerous and unsafe place to live but that couldn't be further from the truth, a lot of places can be deemed unsafe in this day and age but me and my family have lived here all of my life and surly they wouldn't risk living in such a dangerous place. My mum is a film director and my dad a Cinematographer both of them very successful in what they do and here they are settled in such a place. I am still in sixth form at an all-boys school which isn't so bad since the all-girls school is just minutes away where my sister goes and even though there is a two year age gap between me and Mercy we still get a long really well both our friend groups all hang around from time to time. It's Friday today and we are finally getting out of here for the weekend, I head out with the boys Felix, Morgz, Jack and Ollie we are all pissing about as usual playing footie when Morgz boots the ball full force causing me to run backwards trying to reach it in time and suddenly I bump into someone knocking us both to the floor.

"Hero you idiot!" I hear that Australian accent scream at me, Jo.

"Shit sorry let me help you up Josephine," I say with a smirk.

"I have told you to stop calling me Josephine you dick," I can't help but laugh at her as she starts ranting.

"Stop being such an asshole Hero," my sister shouts defending her best friend.

Mercy and Jo have been best friends for the past few years since her family moved over here from Australia her parents are both doctors and the hospitals here were in dire need of help. They were only supposed to stay a year but like many others they fell in love with the place and never left much to Mercy's pleasure and mine. Jo and Mercy are inseparable they literally do everything together and with Jo's parents always working she spends a lot of her time at our house everyone loves her. At first I just seen Jo as my little sisters' annoying best friend but for the past couple years something changed and I have such a huge ass crush on her its driving me fucking crazy.

Obviously I will never act on these feelings with her being Mercy's best friend and that my friends would fucking roast me for it but I also can't deny that I've sat there plenty of times and imagined telling Jo about how I feel but nothing good comes from that. The good thing about this whole situation is that me and Jo have formed a decent enough friendship so I can still see her and hang out with her without it being questioned. Tonight Jo's sister Katherine who is a year above me is throwing a party since Liz and Stephen are away for the weekend at a conference. As I'm finishing getting dressed and putting my chains back on the doorbell goes and my mum shouts up that the boys are here as soon as I grab my jacket about to head out the door she comes over.

"Now don't be doing anything stupid you lot and no later than 12am." I give her a quick kiss before leaving as the boys make kissing faces calling me a mummy's boy, bunch of twats.

It's only 7pm but we decide to head over there early before all the good stuff gets snatched up, as soon as we get there we head straight around the back where everyone is sat around, it's summer so its still light and warm out. An hour passes by and we are all slightly buzzed and decide to have a game of beer pong, just my luck as soon as it's my turn to throw the ball Mercy, Jo and their annoying group of friends walk out of the house and fuck me Jo looks hot.

"Throw the ball dickhead," Jack shouts snapping me out of my trance.

After playing a few games we decide to call it and go and sit down it's already 10pm and I can't help but keep staring over at Jo she looks fucking amazing and all I can think about is peeling that sexy black dress off her.

"Bro what's going on with you why do you keep staring over at them?" Felix says to me.

"I'm just keeping my eyes on Mercy bruv don't want her getting to drunk and mum flipping out." I lie through my god damn teeth.

Another hour passes by and the girls are nowhere to be seen so I head inside to check on them.

Another lie I only really want t.o see what Jo is doing.

After about five minutes of looking and about to give up I hear obnoxiously loud laughing coming from Stephens office which I know he usually has locked hating anyone being in there.

"The fuck are you lot doing in here?" I ask my sister and her friends as they just stare at me before bursting out into a fit of laughter, the fuck?

"Merc how fucking pissed are you, be assed with carrying your asses home," I say leaning against Stephens book shelf.

"Oh they aren't pissed," Katie shrieks laughing even harder she's definitely the most annoying out of my sisters friends, it takes me a few minutes to realise that they are stoned.

"Mercy are you fucking high right now?" I growl at my sister.

"Oh chill out Hero we only had 2 goes," she says laughing her ass off like a child who's just been caught with her hand in the sweet jar.

"Two big ass spliffs you mean babes," Katie winks before leaving the room with Mia and Mel. Jo is sat on Mercy's knee both staring at me trying there best not to laugh.

"Pair of dickheads you two are I swear to god I meant what I said I better not have to carry your asses home I fucking mean it," I spit at them.

"Pair of dickheads you two are bla bla bla like you don't do this all the bloody time." Mercy says mocking me before they both start laughing their asses off falling back off the chair.

"Shit I'm gonna piss myself." my sister shouts before running out and shutting the door behind her.

I stay close to the door watching Jo as she tidies the mess they have made.

"You done staring creep?" she says laughing.

"I wasn't-" I attempt to reply before she starts speaking again.

"Don't think I don't notice Hero," she says walking towards me.

"What are you on about?" I say suddenly nervous as hell.

"I see how you look at me, you want me don't you Hero?" she asks tormenting me with a big ass fucking smirk on her face.

"As if Jo your high as a kite and chatting shit your my little sisters best friend for fuck sake." for like the 100th time tonight she laughs before moving closer to me.

"I know your lying Hero I know you want me but don't worry the feelings mutual it's just a shame I'd never jeopardise my friendship with Merc." she says kissing my neck before walking out the door.

What the actual fuck just happened.
