"Of course, only Lu Bai is the best!" She raised her hand to receive the tea that Lu Bai had prepared for everyone. He smiled and gave it to her while making his way to Xiao Mo who was now even more lazily sprawled on the couch as if he is the only person sitting on it. Lu Bai nudged him to sit up straight and placed his tea on the small table. Xiao Mo mock complained.

"You gave me tea even though you know I don't like tea."

"Tea is good for you unlike those fizzy drinks you like to drink so much." Sitting up straighter he still proceeded to want to complain, "Sometimes you really sound too old ah!", forgetting that his boyfriend is really old. Lu Bai chuckled a bit, leaning close to Xiao Mo, "I am thousands of years old!", he reminded his boyfriend with mirth in his eyes.

Xiao Mo was not going to give up so easily, "Is that something to be proud of? Then should I call you ancestor?", Xiao Mo teased back. Lu Bai true to his nature showed Xiao Mo a seductive smile, "Should this ancestor show you what he's capable of?" He looked lecherously at Xiao Mo and winked like some of the perverts he's seen on one of the TV dramas he has been watching recently. Xiao Mo mock pushed him away.

"You truly are a fox!"

It is exactly these words that brought everyone back from wherever their minds had wondered to and reminded them of the issue at hand. Lu Yin shook himself from his thoughts.

"Since everyone is done with everything then I'll start to discuss the next steps. Lu Bai and I had a discussion and we decided to be honest with everyone so what I'm about to tell you is what happened a thousand years ago." He paused, "Before I begin with what happened a thousand years ago I'll have to give you a little background."

He paused again as if to prepare everyone for a long story, "Many millennia ago, the fox clan were entrusted by Goddess Nuwa to guard a sacred stone and keep it from being stolen by the demons. These demons originated from the clan which were opposed to the foxes being given the duty to guard the sacred stone and they were consumed with ambition, jealousy and hate. This led to them falling into demonic arts and becoming demons, amongst them the most powerful and ancient of these demons was a demon named Lu Cang, he is the original chief of the owl clan. When Goddess Nuwa discovered this, she banished the entire owl clan to the mortal realm never to return to the Celestial realm, she also thought that the best place to hide the sacred stone was right under their nose. As a result, we the fox clan were also given  the duty to descend to the mortal realm and we were given our own dimension in the mortal realm. She also gave one of our own a special power that could help him guard the stone in case anything happens.

I also found this out when Lu Bai and I visited the mortal realm the first time and Lu Bai met Xiao Mo of that time; that the great Goddess had also chosen a mortal to help Lu Bai guard the stone and protect the fox clan. It was only after we went back to the dimension and I asked the Elder to confirm. She explained to me why Lu Bai would like this mortal, this was also the reason why the then Xiao Mo was able to save Lu Bai from the brink of death by sacrificing his life, it was because these two are connected by fate."

After this narration everyone was silent, absorbing this information. "Wow, my little brother is born with a fated mate, I'm so envious!" Xiao Rongrong couldn't help saying while looking at Lu Bai and Xiao Mo. Xiao Mo of course felt shy after hearing his sister's words. Lu Yin made an action as if he is rolling his eyes, "Out of everything I just said that's the only thing you got out of this?"

"What's more important than sharing love with one person for many lifetimes? Besides it's fated and it's also blessed by the Goddess, such a fate is not only unbreakable but also unshakeable. This means that no matter where, they would always find each other and love each other. This is the stuff of novels!"
