(Time skip to Victoria waiting for Frank before they walk together to their last class)
Victoria's POV:
I just got out of my 6th period class, and I decide to wait for Frank so we can walk to our last class, English, together. His class is upstairs, but not too far from where mine was. I stand outside my classroom and text him so he knows where I am.
V: hey I'm waiting at the end of C hallway so just come over and we can start walking together :)
Frank sends me a text just a few seconds later, letting me know he's on his way. I put my phone back in my pocket and take another look at my schedule. Jeez, this English classroom was far away. We would have to zig zag through 3 moderately long hallways and then go up the stairs to the 3rd floor, in the only part of our school that has 3 floors. We would have to walk pretty fast, seeing as we only get 6 minutes to get to class, and showing up late on the first day of class would just be totally embarrassing. My thoughts were interrupted when I see Frank walking over to me.
"Hey, ready for our last class?" He asks.
"Definitely. This day hasn't been as bad as I thought it would, but it's still been tiring. I'm so ready to have this last class and go home," I say.
"Me too. Did you notice how far away this class is though?" Frank asks as we start walking, a little quicker than normal since this classroom is so far from where we are.
"Oh yeah, I was just thinking about that before you came down. It doesn't make sense, why does an English class need to be on the 3rd floor of that one part of the school?" I ask.
"Who knows, honestly. But hey, I'm just looking forward to not being in suspense anymore about this teacher being new or not," Frank says.
"Yeah, I'm sure he'll say so if he is. If he doesn't say anything, then I guess he's just an old teacher we somehow never heard of." I say, immediately remembering that he might not say anything if he's not a new teacher.
Frank and I arrive at the area of the school that's 3 floors. Thankfully, we walked quickly enough to where we still have a few minutes left. I really wish this part of the school had elevators that students could use, though, because Frank and I had to climb up 4 flights of stupid stairs to get to the 3rd floor. We get up there and are already out of breath, but thankfully the classroom is not far away from the stairs. When we walk in, the class seems about half full, and the teacher isn't there yet.
Frank and I easily find 2 desks next to each other and sit, I really hope this teacher isn't one of those annoying ones who makes a seating chart. Hopefully, if he's new, he'll be pretty lenient and won't care where anyone sits.A few more people come into the class, and the bell finally rings. I'm still looking down at my phone, which I know I should probably put away since class is starting. Teachers at this school see you holding your phone during class and they act like they just saw you with a bomb.
"Good afternoon everyone!" I suddenly hear. I finish putting my phone in my backpack and look up, Mr. Way just walked in and...wow, he's good looking. I know that might sound weird since he's my teacher, but honestly he looks pretty young anyway. To quickly describe him, he looks like he's in his mid 20s with delicate facial features, he's quite pale with thick coal black hair that goes almost down to his shoulders, and he's wearing black slacks with a belt, a black button down vest over a long sleeved white dress shirt, a red tie, and black and white Converse. He walks over to his desk and sits down before taking a sip of his coffee. He has everyone paying attention now, so he starts talking again.
"Alright class, my name is Mr. Way. This is my first year teaching at this school, so I hope I get to know all of you better." I look over at Frank, and he smiles at me and mouths the words "I knew it" before we both look back to the front of the room.
