Victoria's POV, the next morning

I hear the annoying sound of my alarm, and as always, I quickly but still tiredly shut it off before laying back down, my eyes still trying to open. I'm distracted from my tiredness when I suddenly remember the conversation Frank and I had yesterday after school: today was the day that I was going to find out the truth about Mr. Way. I wasn't very thrilled that I had to wait until the very last period of the day to find out, but as long as I did, that's all I cared about. This mission I had would yield 2 possibilities: either I find out Mr. Way is a vampire and I get excited, or I find out that he isn't one and I'll just be really disappointed and bored.

I get up and go to the bathroom to do my usual, brushing my teeth and washing my face, before going in my room and picking my clothes. I finally decide on a red T-shirt that says "I Don't Care" in black letters, my black skinny jeans, my silver studded bracelet and my red high top Converse. I brush and straighten and my hair and put my usual eyeliner on before going downstairs and grabbing a yogurt cup for breakfast and my backpack. I walk outside to wait for Frank as always, when I already see him coming.

"Woah, you were quick today." I say to him, since I had to wait for him for a few minutes yesterday morning.

"Well it's not the first day of school this time. I was more prepared to be up early than I was yesterday." Frank giggles.

"Yeah you got a point." I say, even though I was still tired as hell myself.

"So are you ready for Mr. Way's class today?" Frank suddenly asks. I had actually forgotten about that for a second.

"Oh, definitely. I can't wait to finally find out the truth of whether he's actually a vampire or not. Whatever the answer turns out to be, I'm just excited I won't have to be in suspense anymore." I explain.

"That will really be a huge relief for you," Frank laughs while smiling at me. "So do you have a plan for making the most out of today's class? I don't think you can just stare Mr. Way down for an hour straight from the back of the classroom." Frank explains, laughing again.

"You're right...oh, you know what? I do have an idea! You know how the very front row of desks is always empty because no one wants to sit at them? How about you and I sit at the front of the room so we can get a much closer view of Mr. Way and really see if he pulls anymore vampire tricks?" I explain. I'm so glad I thought of this plan that quickly, because I really didn't have one before. The fact that the front row of desks is always empty would seriously come in handy today...

"That's perfect!" Frank says loudly. He also seems really excited that I had a plan.

"I know right? I'm actually getting pretty excited suddenly, like just...what if he actually turns out to be a real live vampire?" I say energetically.

"As rad as that would be, just chill out for now, Vic," Frank giggles. "Let's just find out the truth for ourselves first, and then if the result is positive, then you can get excited." Frank says.

"Wow, way to be a killjoy Frank," I joke, playfully hitting his arm. He just smiles at me

We eventually finally get to the school, and thankfully it's a lot less chaotic than yesterday since it's not the first day. Even better, none of the jocks and their bitchy, popular girlfriends mess with me at all today, I guess just one day gave them enough realization that they should keep their mouths shut when Frank is near me. We decide to just go to our study hall and sit in there, we really don't have a reason to go to the library today. We're the only ones there, so we just talk and mess around on our phones as more people come in, and eventually the bell rings as the teacher comes in and class starts.
