It had become dark. We were about 7 hours into our 17-hour trip. We were all sleeping except Richie who was driving. I curled myself into a ball while I rested my eyes. I guess He thought I was sleeping because I felt a soft peck on my forehead.

"Where are we?" I said rubbing my eyes.
"I just needed some gas y/n. Go ahead and stretch or go to the bathroom." Richie said turning around to wake the others.

Everyone walked inside grabbing water, Chips, and energy drinks, after we when to the restroom. Beverly snuck two cigarette packs while the cashier wasn't looking and handed one to Richie as we all walked back to the car.
A few hours had past and we stopped at a Motel to rest for the night. Stanley, Ben, Eddie, and Mike had one room, Beverly and Bill had their own, and that left Me and Richie. While Beverly and I were getting the room keys the boys grabbed the bags from the trunk.
When we got the keys Beverly quickly pulled me aside and handed me birth control pills. I felt my whole body got stiff. " What the fuck are these?" Before I could grab any bags, Bill pulled me aside handing me a condom. I felt my face got bright red. "What the fuck is this?" "Y-y-ou k-now for ton-night. D-dont worry, I've g-got one too!" He said happily grabbing a few bags. I just stood there with them in hand shocked at what just happened.
Y/n POV:
When we got to the room Richie and I both needed to take a shower. So he took one first. "Ok, your good to go princess!" He said coming out of the bathroom as he fluffed his hair with a towel. I walked in and started getting undressed. I guess I forgot to lock the door because I saw the door start to open. "RICHIE NO!" I shouted, But it was too late. "Hey y/n you forgot your-" He just stopped and stared at me speechless. He quickly got out of the trance and threw the towel on the counter slamming the door and yelling 'I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!!" I tried to shake off the interaction after making sure to lock the door this time.

I walked out of the bathroom to see Richie sitting on the bed, surfing through the TV channels in his boxers. "Hey." I said quietly as I sat next to him. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I didn't know." "No Richie It's okay. I mean... It's okay since we're together." I said smiling up at him. "You know earlier, Beverly gave me birth control pills." I said laughing. "Wait really? Bill did the same thing!"
After a few seconds of laughter, we both stared into each other's eyes before slowly connecting our lips. At first, it was just a kiss but then it turned into a rough and passionate make-out session. He slowly hovered over me as we continued to kiss. "Wait is this really happening? I mean what if we-" I pulled his lips back to mine, whispering, "it's okay."
