Will grinned over at Nico, squeezing his hand again at his small jump. He saw the faintest hint of a smile. Oh gods, he loved him. No use denying it. He didn't want to get to Nico's cabin. He just wanted to keep walking in comfortable silence. He wanted to keep walking, arm in arm, hand in hand. His breath hitched when Nico leaned against him a bit more.

Nico looked over at Will, mouth already open and prepared to say something. Instead, he found Will already looking at him. And he was confused. No one had ever looked at him like that before, and he wasn't exactly sure what it was that made that look so special. It just felt... good. He felt good, and... and happy!

That's what it was. He was happy. Will made Nico happy. Something he thought was pretty close to impossible to achieve.

The blond saw Nico letting go of his control. He let forth his smile. Good gods. That smile could end wars. Will looked down at their hands, still firmly intertwined. He grinned.

When he looked back up at Nico, he was staring at him, the soft smile still present. His eyes were filled and... something. Something good, and perfect, and amazing. Something that made Nico smile again. Will grinned. Nico was smiling.

He... he was smiling... Good gods, Nico couldn't remember the last time he smiled. Then he remembered why he was smiling. Will. And that made him smile more. The fact that they were there, together, and it seemed like nothing else mattered made him smile the brightest he had in a very, very long time.

Will slowed down, wanting this moment to last forever. He was here, with a smiling Nico on his arm. He just enjoyed looking at Nico, memorizing his face. His smile. He bit his lip. He didn't want to let go.

He lowered his arm, still clasping Nico's hand. Would he let him hold it if they weren't being led arm in arm?

Well, apparently he would.

Will bit his lip. again to keep from beaming. He was holding hands with Nico. And Nico was smiling. Everything seemed perfect in that moment.

Nico looked up slightly at the taller boy, an idea creeping into his head.

"Hey..." he said softly. "Follow me..."

He guided the blond, gently pulling on his hand and walking slowly to a clearing, just a little bit away from the cabins. In the middle of that clearing is where he stopped and looked over his shoulder to make sure no one had followed them.

Will was being pulled along. Nico had entered a clearing, stopping in the middle. He turned to face him, grabbing his other hand. Will's face was on fire.

"Yeah?" He asked.

He was blushing furiously, averting his gaze.

"I...I... I just thought... we have a few hours before curfew, and I-I was just wondering... maybe we could, maybe get to know each other a little better...?" He managed to stumble out. "You know, like just talk...?"

Will beamed.

"Of course! Should I start?" Nico nodded. Will sat, pulling the boy with him.

"I have no musical talent, have three full siblings, hate when you use your skeletal powers because I get so worried you'll fade. I love my little siblings, I wish you would eat more and I-" Will thought about what he was planning to say. "I have a crush on a guy."

He turned to Nico. "Your turn."
