Nico was stalking back to his cabin, a scowl on his face. It wasn't his fault Hades wasn't Mr. Popular, so why was he still treated like a freak? And Will. Good gods, he had no right to be so goddamn cute!

He was snapped out of his thoughts by a hand catching his wrist, startling him, and a few moments later he had turned around, and judo flipped the stranger on their back.

And good gods, it was Will. Crap.

Will hit the ground with a thud. He wheezed.

"Hey Death Boy." He slowly sat up, feeling his torso for a broken rib.

Huh. No broken bone. He was surprised. Nico was really strong. And cute. Will blushed at the thought. He stood, brushing himself off.

"I'm not going to drag you to the infirmary. I see what it does to you. No doctor business." He said, watching Nico's skeptical eyes. There was a glimmer of something else in them. Affection?

No way. Will was imagining things. Being optimistic had its downsides, all right.

Nico rolled his eyes affectionately, trying, and failing, to hide that gleam in his eye that came with the happiness of being around Will, a faint blush, barely noticeable on the dark, covering his cheeks.

"How many times have I told you not to call me Death Boy?" He asked rhetorically, quickly scanning Will to make sure that he hadn't hurt him.

Will fiddled with his thumbs. "A lot." He mumbled.

Then he brightened. "But I won't stop! Unless you want me too! It's just-" he cut himself off, looking at the ground. 'Come on Will! Pull yourself together!'

He bit his lip and jokingly held out his arm. To his surprise, Nico took it. Oh gods. His stomach roiled with nervousness and he felt heat rise to his cheeks. He laughed nervously and started walking Nico towards his cabin.

Nico seemed calm and collected on the outside, but was experiencing a new level of panic on the inside.

'What are you doing!?!' He screamed at himself. 'What do you think people are going to think?! What's he doing? Why am I blushing? Oh gods, am I blushing? Why in the name of Hades am I blushing?!'

His mind was... interesting... to say the least.

Will glanced at Nico. At that exact moment, they passed the Demeter cabin, who had their lights on to grow the plants inside. He caught a glimpse of a blush. Why was Nico blushing? Was he okay? Was Will blushing? Could Nico see? Did-

Was Nico blushing because of him? No no no.

But even as he tried to convince himself it wasn't, he was becoming more and more sure it was.

Nico's eyes widened in panic. The Demeter kids had their lights on and he was visibly blushing. Oh gods...

He tried to shrink away, averting his gaze so Will couldn't see his face, ignoring Jason watching them from the roof of his cabin. Seriously, what was the deal with that?

His face was on fire, suddenly super aware that he was holding onto Will's arm, wanting to let go, but at the same time, wanting to stay there forever.

'When did I get so sappy?' He asked himself.

Will shot a glare at Jason, noticing him on the roof. He had a very brief gesture argument with him, and watched with a smirk as he descended. He should be spending his last night hanging out with Piper, not stalking people.

He glanced at Nico, who was looking at his feet as they walked. He reached over and squeezed Nico's hand.

'What am I doing?' He felt like Aphrodite was controlling him slightly. Normally he would be very stiff and stuttery.

Nico's eyes widened in shock. His head snapped up as he heard a crash coming from the Zeus cabin, and he saw Jason pinned underneath a ladder.

'What is he doing? Can't he fly?'

His face lit up bright red, but he didn't resist as Will intertwined their fingers. For the first time in a while he had to hide a smile, instead of force one.
