Nico smiled, lovestruck, as he sat down with a book. Divergent, was it called? Annabeth has given it to him, as well as many others. In fact, he now had a mini library in his cabin. Nico had to say, she had good taste in books.

It wasn't a defining trait in Hades kids to like to read- at least, no one knew it was. The prince of the underworld didn't tell anyone but Annabeth, though. He knew that if he told anyone else, he wouldn't just be pegged as 'creepy emo kid', but also a nerd. Yay.

Will ate quickly, not really paying attention to what he was eating. He was lost in thought. About Nico.

Man, he was gay.

He took two pieces of toast for himself, and a few grapes for Nico, as promised. He walked into the cabin, putting his stuff on the nightstand.

"Dark Prince? I've brought grapes and love."

Nico was lying on his bed, reading Divergent. He seemed to have turned off his sense of hearing.

"Hello? Love? Sunshine? Darling?" He tapped Nico on the shoulder.

Nico snapped up, and he gasped, slamming the book shut. "Good gods! Don't scare me like that, mío amore!" he helped, slipping into his childhood language of Italian.

His face flushed and he fidgeted shyly with the cuffs of his sleeves of his black flannel, looking up at Will through the messy hair strewn haywire over his eyes.

After a moment, he spoke. "Sorry... you just startled me..." he mumbled, shifting awkwardly.

Will giggled, handing Nico his food. "It's alright, Dark Prince. I was just saying that I brought the grapes and love I promised. Also, mío amore? I'm gonna guess that means my love?" He chuckled at Nico's heightened blush. "I'm gonna take that as a yes."

He sat down next to him. "I know 'undying love' is hard to deliver, so I think I'll just kiss you."

Nico's face heated up as he felt the wonderful familiar feeling of Will's soft lips pressed against his own. He practically melted. It was amazing, how the smallest actions from this boy; this beautiful, wonderful boy, could leave him completely flustered and helpless. It was almost like he short circuited.

Love does insane things to you, doesn't it...

Will grinned into the kiss. He wrapped his arms tightly around Nico. He loved this. Not just the kissing, but being so comfortable with each other.

They pulled away a few moments, breathless. Will smiled.

"That work?"

Nico nodded shyly, blushing furiously as the arms wrapped around him seemed to set fire to his sides. He looked up at the blond, a small, lovestruck smile spread across his face.

"It sure did..." he whispered, gently pressing his forehead against Will's, gazing into the boys crystal blue eyes.

Will smiled. "I'm very glad."

The two sat there a few moments longer, just staring into each other's eyes, projecting the love they had for each other.

~~~~~~
Nico let out a quiet yawn, rubbing his eyes sleepily. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, due to doubts, nightmares, anxiety, the usual. But now he had Will at stake. And that made it even worse. What if there was another war and one of them... one of them didn't make it.
No, no, no, that's not going to happen. The war's over. We're gonna be ok....
~~~~~~

Will giggled. He couldn't help it, when his boyfriend yawned like a cat.

"Did you sleep last night? I saw you asleep when I left."

Nico nodded softly. "For a little bit... I woke up around 11 though, and couldn't go back asleep for the rest of the night..." he confessed, shifting and blushing.

Will frowned softly. Why?"

Nico mumbled, barely audible, "nightmares..."
