Jiwoo's POV

How the hell is a random ass widow going to come out of nowhere, take my niece and one of my bestest friends and then almost kill one of my other ones?

This guy seriously has a death wish. And I'm going to gladly grant it.

I hate the fact of leaving Irene in that condition, but she's right. The others hopefully would've seen the explosion from the city, and are on their way back.

Flying in the direction of the yells and screams I hear from Talia and Nari, I try to keep up with them.

I know for a fact that the widow would not take them into the city, because that would be a stupid idea.

And black widow's surprisingly aren't stupid.

It would attract too much attention from the people. So, it must've taken them the other way.

"Nari?" I yell at the top of my lungs.

It goes silent for a couple of seconds, and then I hear Nari's voice yell back.

"Jiwoo! Go up!"

Up?

Up to where? I'm already in the air, what the hell does she mean by 'up'?

"What?" I shout, but this time she doesn't respond back.

Confused, I pick up my pace into the direction Nari's voice is going. It starts to fade, and I begin to panic as they're starting to get further and further away.

But when I reach a dead end, I become even more confused. Thinking back to Nari's words, my head arches up.

Oh, so that's what she meant by 'up'.

Above us is the unknown, and in front of me is the lifts that take you up there. Meaning that's where they've been taken, and probably where this new black widow comes from.

At this rate, I'm not even surprised.

Groaning, I close my wings and step into the lift, pressing the button then waiting. To be prepared for whatevers up here I take my bow and arrow off of my back and hold it in position.

When the doors open, I aim my bow and arrow strongly, ready to fire and I cautiously walk out.

Even though barely anyone comes up here, it's too quiet. All I can hear is my uneasy breaths as when I look around at the buildings, I see nothing.

Maybe Nari didn't mean the unknown, maybe she meant somewhere else? But what other place is there that corresponds to going 'up' from the Sapphire?

Walking further into the open, I clulessly look around. I can make out the entrance to Heaven on one end, and the entrance to Hell on the other.

I haven't been back to Heaven since we left 5 years ago, when we were in search of a new home to keep Talia safe.

Well, that obviously didn't go to plan.

My head then snaps to a building which a sound erupts from. It might not be them, but it is a sound after all.  Meaning that someone's here.

I break out into a run, heading for the doorway to the building. As I enter, I get chills running down my arms.

Someone is definitely in here.

Climbing up the stairs, the sound I heard just a moment ago becomes more familiar. And for some reason...muffled?

When reaching the third floor, I make out someone sitting in the dark and facing the wall. Her hands are tied behind her back, and a bandana both around her eyes and mouth.
