Yoongi's POV
Creaking Jungkook's bedroom door open, I catch a glimpse of him sitting on his bed with his back facing me. It's been a few hours since we all found out his secret, and I figured I should check on him now.
I step inside, slowly walking over and sitting down beside him. He acknowledges me and sniffles, wiping his cheeks with his sleeve.
Slinging my arm around his neck, I sigh and pull him closer towards me. It's best to not say anything, and just be with him.
"You wanna know the worst part?" I hear him mumble under his breath.
What could possibly be worse than killing your father?
"He let me do it, hyung. Because he knew who I was, and he knew what I was about to do. I'll never forget the look in his eyes when he realised that I was the black widow. And he didn't run, or hide. He knew that if I didn't do it, the widow would torture me forever."
Oh. I guess that's much worse.
"How did the Queen react?" I ask.
"When she saw him dead, she was horrified. But when she saw that I was the one that killed him, she couldn't believe her eyes. That's when she found out too, about what I was."
"And she didn't tell anyone?"
Jungkook shakes his head, and sits up. "Because she knew that I'd be in danger, and people would try to kill me. She couldn't cover up the fact that he was murdered, so she took the blame for everything."
That's one hell of a mother. And we all thought she was selfish and insane.
Jungkook's been keeping that secret in for so long, even when we would mention the King being 'killed by the Queen'. It must've made him feel so guilty inside knowing the truth if what happened.
"Like you said earlier Jungkook, there's no point in worrying about this now. It's done, and nothing is going to change that. Don't beat yourself up over it when we both know that it wasn't your fault."
He nods. "I know hyung, but I still feel guilty about it."
Nari then opens the door and walks in. When she sees Jungkook's cheens are still a little damp, she sighs and crouched down in front of him.
"I'm sorry Jungkook, for making you remember that."
Jungkook shakes his head. "It's okay, you don't need to apologise. Besides, it feels good to finally be able to get that off my chest."
Nari nods, and sits down on the chair opposite myself and Jungkook on the bed.
"So, what now?" I wonder.
She shrugs. "I have no idea. But I feel like everything that's happened is just part of the widow's plan to eliminate us one by one."
I agree with her. First it killed Jin, almost killed Jiwoo and Irene, and then successfully killed Nari until Talia brought her back.
It's like delivering a message to us almost, but what the message is exactly is still a mystery.
However, I've been thinking about something: Jungkook and Talia's dreams. They're in the exact same place, parallel to each other. Except Talia's is darker, and Jungkook's is more hopeful. Talia sees a black widow wheres Jungkook sees Hana.
They're somehow connected, and I don't think that's a coincidence.
"Jungkook, have you had that dream again since you last dreamt of it? The one where you see Hana?" I bring it up.
Jungkook tilts his head, trying to remember if he has. "I did last night, yeah. I forgot to mention it because of everything that happened earlier. But what made me confused is that Hana wasn't smiling at me. She looked scared, and worried."
"Why?" Nari questions, and Jungkook shrugs his shoulders.
"But when we were the city, everywhere I looked I saw her. I felt like I was hallucinating her, everywhere I went. And everytime I did see her it was the same worried expression. I kept having visions of that dream."
I raise an eyebrow. He's dreaming whilst awake? Well that's a first.
"Maybe Hana's trying to tell us something, like give us a message or a warning?" Nari suggests.
"About what though?" Jungkook question, and she shrugs.
I then think to myself about something, and then lean forwards to Nari. "What if...the black widow Talia's been seeing is Hana?"
Nari's lips part in confusion. "What are you talking about? How could that be Hana?"
"What if she's connected to Talia, and she's showing Talia these dreams of a black widow to warn us about this new black widow?"
She takes a deep breath in, furrowing her eyebrows. "Before the widow showed up earlier, Talia said she had the same dream only that it was in Irene's house. And it ended up actually being in her house." She gasps. "Oh my God, Hana is trying to tell us something!"
Amongst Nari and I sharing our theories, Jungkook sits there confused at our conversation. "Wait, what? Talia's nightmare was of seeing a black widow?"
Nari nods. "It's in the same place as your dream, except the room is darker and the throne is broken."
"And why did none of you tell me this?"
"Because then you'd freak out, like what you're doing now." I simply respond, patting him on his back.
"By Hana showing the black widow at Irene's house, we never would've known it was there. We'd probably be dead!" Nari exclaims the more she puts the pieces of the puzzle together.
I chuckle faintly. "So Hana's trying to protect us from the widow." I turn to Jungkook. "That's why she looked worried in your dream last night...she knew the widow would come."
"But how? How would she know when she's dead?" Jungkook says.
"I have no idea." I respond.
Making up the decision in my mind, I stand to my feet. "But I know how we'll get answers. All of this is happening for a reason, and to find out why we need to take a visit to the main stage."
Nari's eyebrows furrow whilst staring up at me. "The 'main stage'? What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"The place where Jungkook and Talia's dreams have been happening. The place they keep seeing over and over again."
Without letting them respond I march out of Jungkook's room, down the hall and into the living room where the rest of them are gathered.
They look up when they see me, and look confused when Nari and Jungkook come fast-walking round the corner after me.
"Hyung, what are you talking about? Where are we going?" Jungkook asks from behind.
Glancing over at him, I speak the name. "Heaven."
