Jungkook's POV
Once we reach Hell and transform bac into our normal selves, taking a look around of what we used to call home is hard.
Most of it is in ruins, with lumps of bodies striking out from collapsed buildings and little fires which surprisingly haven't gone out yet.
It's dark, like it always used to be. But it somehow seems darker now the people are gone.
Yoongi can tell the three of us are shaken up by seeing all of this. Even though he feels the same way we do, we need to stay focused on why we're here.
"The more you look around, the harder it will be to leave. So let's just find the weapon and get out of here."
Knowing that he's right, we continue to walk further into Hell. Smoke lingers in the air, and I can just make out what remains of the Palace.
My home.
I know I said I hated being a Prince, but it seems that I'm starting to miss it.
And now, being a King is a big step forwards.
If Heaven and Hell ever go back to the way they used to be, I'll have to take more responsibility of the people of Hell.
That's way too much pressure.
Luckily people don't know that I'm the traiterous dark angel that fell in love with an angel, except for the ones we can trust to keep it a secret.
"Jungkook, we need to keep moving." Taehyung's soft voice snaps me back to reality and I nod, forcing not feet to move towards.
We found maps in different books in the library when we went to to find the location of the weapon, and Taehyung pieced them together with his own knowledge of the location.
He holds that pieced together map in his hands now, leading us all to the secret armoury underground somewhere.
"Everything looks so different." Nari says, looking around whilst walking. "I never would've thought we'd be back."
"Yeah, me neither." Yoongi agrees with her, also taking a glance around.
Taehyung hums under his breath in agreement too, as he walks around according to the map and we all trail behind him.
"It says here that it should be right over...there." He points to the left, not bothering to look up as he still is identifying the map.
When I look to see where hes pointing however, my face drops and I become confused. I glance back at him.
"Are you sure it's there?"
Taehyung nods. "Yeah, that's what it sa-" He cuts himself off when he finally looks up to see where he's pointing. "Oh, well that's weird."
The armoury is in the Palace?
Why haven't I seen or been to it before? That basically was my home. I guess it's another thing my mother kept from me that can be added to the list.
Sighing, I end up leading the way towards the palace with the other 3 trailing behind. As we reach it, the four of us stand side by side whilst reluctantly staring down the palace.
The gates have been blown to pieces and the doors to the Palace are wide open. It looks so empty, like no-one's been home for a while. Even though it was only my mother and me living here, it still feels different.
I can feel the three pairs of eyes on me. They know that walking back in here is going to be the hardest thing I've ever done. I haven't had very pleasant memories in here, now that they know what really happened to my father.
