Rae's POV

"Rae. Busy?" Jordan asks through the phone.
"I'm still at yours... without my car. What do you think?" I reply laughing.
"If I come get you now, will you come to the training ground? Jürgen wants to meet you."
"Jürgen? As in Klopp?..."
"He can hear you and he's laughing his arse off."
"Great, thanks Jord."
"Anyway, listen. He wants to talk to you, about coaching and stuff. If I come pick you up now, will you come?"
"Of course." I replied, going upstairs.

I tie my hair back in braids, not having time to do anything else to it. I do quick and simple make up. I pull on a pair of black ripped jeans and a white t shirt and some Adidas trainers. I put my phone into my pocket waiting for Jordan to finally pull up. I study the tattoos on my arm, whilst I waited. I wanted to finish off my arm sleeve. After the attack, I was extremely low and did turn to hurting myself and I wanted to get one to disguise the scars. Not because I was ashamed, but because I just wanted to show I was doing better.

We pull up outside the training ground. I sit, frozen in the seat. Why did he want to meet me?
"You're not nervous are you?" Jordan asks laughing, but when he realises I started to panic, he stops. "Rae?"
"Shut up." I mumbled. "Why does he want to meet me?"
"I can't tell you till you go talk to him. But I'll be right outside."
"Can't you come in?"
"I can't.. have your phone with you, I'll explain to Jurgen and he'll totally understand."
"Okay..."

I follow him inside, I notice the players were dotted around, some just sat talking, some were sat eating and others were sat by the tv's playing on the games consoles the club had for them to play on.

"Down time." Jordan tells me as we walk by. I could hear them whispering and I could definitely see them looking. Some didn't care - which I was extremely grateful for. I see Trent and smile, which he quickly returns and so does Virgil.

"Jurgen, this is Rae." Jordan says. "Rae, Jurgen."
"Hi." I smiled at him.
"Hi!" He smiles back and offers me a hug. "I don't do handshakes with my team."
"Rae, I'll talk to the boys while you chat here. Shout me if you need anything, okay?" Jordan asks.
"We'll be fine worry wart." Jurgen tells him.

As Rae begins the chat with Jurgen, Jordan heads outside and is greeted with the curiosity of his team mates.
"Who's she?" Mo asks.
"New girlfriend?" Bobby questions as they all sit with him.
"Guys, she's my sister." They pretty much face palm, knowing she was off limits. "She's been going through a hard time. She lost her job as a coach and physio and she's barely making ends meet in her new job. I was hoping I could get her on here." Jordan answers his team mates.
"Oh is Rae here?" Alex buts in to the conversation.
"How do you know her?" Sadio adds.
"We went for food with Jordan, Trent and Virj."

Rae's POV

He was just like Jordan described. I was really, really nervous, but he was really nice, he was patient and made me feel right at home.
"What experience do you have?" Jurgen asks.
"I've been at a few clubs. My most recent just ceased trading." I tell him, feeling the pant of sadness. "We were in the championship. I was the assistant coach but also worked a lot in the physiotherapy of the players."
"What other clubs have you been at?"
"I did a stint in Spain, I worked with Real for some time. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't constantly with them, I did about a months work, but I was there."
"I'd really like you on board with us." Jurgen smiles. "I think you've got a great attitude, along with the knowledge, the stride to do well and I think you'll get along just fine with the players."
"On board?" I ask, feeling nervous.
"I'd like to offer you a job. Working with us, full time."
"Actually?"
"If that's something you're interested in, I'd love to have you around."
"I'd love to."
"Great! I'll let the board know and you can discuss contacts with them. I've just got some bits to finish up here, or I'd introduce you to the team myself. I'm sure Jordan has already done that for you mind."
"Thank you so much Jurgen."
"Not a problem. You can start by the next session if this works for you."

I head out of the little office and Jordan comes over.
"So?"
"I'm joining Liverpool!" My face breaks out into a smile and I just couldn't help it.
"See! I'm so proud of you."
"Thank you. I wouldn't have got it without you."
"Yes you would. I just made the process quicker."

We head home and I sit, relaxing with Marley. Jordan had dropped us off, him finally feeling considerately more confident in trusting me again. I knew he was doing it for the right reasons, but part of me was still incredibly frustrated.
I couldn't sleep. My anxiety was in overdrive. Just processing at how my week had gone, I just never thought I'd ever be lucky enough to land a job like this - regardless of how much Jordan may have had an influence.
