Rae's POV

"How's your birthday been then Princess?" T asks as we get to mine.
"Incredible. Also, you didn't have to get me any-"
"Yes I did. You do enough for me and I wanted to spoil you.. mums coming over wit the rest later."
"The rest?" I question, confused.
"Rest of my presents to you.. plus my family got you a couple things."
"Actually?"
"Don't cry!" He replies, hugging me and started to laugh.
"I've never been treated like this before.. I've never got to meet anyone's parents bar one partner and they hated me."
"You don't have to worry about that with us, they really love you."
"I'm just not used to it.."
"I know and I know it will take time."

We carried watching tv for another hour or two before there was a knock at the door. T let's whoever it is in and they soon come in the living room. Marley does his usual and greets T's family. I hug them all too before his mum disappears into the kitchen with him and leaves me with the rest of his family - which I was now oddly comfortable being around which I never thought I would.

Marley was needing his food, so I get up to go to the kitchen and feed him. When I go in, they're both stood talking and getting the few take away menus I had.
"Sit down." T tells me.
"Do you wanna deal with a hungry moody Marley?"
"I'll feed him." He replies before handing me the menus and making me go back in the living room. I don't know what he's up to.

We'd eaten and opened the remainder of my presents which involved a fair bit of me crying - I can't help it. His family left after a few hours which left us to relax for a small while.

"So there was one last thing I forgot to give you."
"You've spoilt me enough."
"You deserve it. Open the laptop." He says and I open his new MacBook.

On the screen, is details of a holiday in Greece for a week. All inclusive, secluded and private villa which overlooked the sea in Mykonos.
"Actually?" I asked while looking at him.
"I was stuck between that and one other place but Jord said it was wise to go there as you've always wanted to go."
"It's perfect, I don't-"
"You were so disappointed when we had to cancel our weekend trip so I wanted to make up for it."
"I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I appreciate it, so much."

Getting in to bed, I realised just how lucky I was. I found someone who wants to care, who looks after me and is there whenever I need them. I have a good job and a nice house and car.
