Timezones....
Before I go into this, please don't hate on me for doing this because the last time I spoke about roleplaying, I got some hate from certain people.
Timezones make it hard for a roleplay to be continuous because you both wake up and go to sleep at different times.
Also, the current time for me 11:26am so if you want to compare your time to mine then feel free.
One of my roleplay partners live on the other side of the world for me so it's really hard to rp because I wake up when they go to bed and they wake up when I go to bed.
Also, I have gotten a little hate due to not replying to a rp, but my argument is that their message was at 3:29am (or something like that) so I wouldn't reply unless I was WIDE awake or just bored.
My only solution for this would be to rp as much as possible when you are both awake, that way you can get a lot done in a short amount of time. This only applies to those who have a big time difference.
I thought I'd just have a little rant about it.
