Accidentally In Love

Chapter 3

The day I was dreading is finally here. First day of Senior Year. Yay! Please note the sarcasm.

I woke up, brushed,washed my hair,put on light make-up and threw my clothes on. I decided to wear my red full sleeve crop top,black ripped jeans and white converse. I like dressing up for special things but at school,it's safer to keep it simple.

As soon as I walked down the stairs,I felt like I was in heaven. The aroma of pancakes was all around me. I quickly ran to the kitchen and stacked my plate with pancakes,pouring chocolate syrup all over it. Emma surprisingly,was already up. "Ready for Junior Year?" She question stuffing her mouth with the pancakes."Oh yeah! It's gonna be super", I said with my mouth full of my pancakes. I swear it's like sarcasm oozes out from my mouth. I'm sure Emma was thinking the same thing cause she said,"Can you not be sarcastic this early in the morning?" I replied before stuffing my mouth again ,"Can't..it's the main feature of my personality."

Just after I finished saying that, I was reaching out for the last pancake. I looked at Emma and she was already looking at me. Both of us lunged forward to take the last pancake. While we wrestled amongst ourselves,mom took advantage of it and had the last pancake. I just rolled my eyes and put my plate in the sink.

Few minutes later, Stacy and Brooke walked into the house." Do I smell pancakes?",was the first thing Brooke said."Yes Brooke. But we devoured it." "You Bloom's and you're love for food",Stacy muttered under her breath which earned her a glare from Emma.

"Okay! Before we get fired for being late on our first day,let's get going." Saying this we headed towards the door.

" Bye Ashley. Bye Em", Stacy and Brooke screamed in unison.

"Bye girls! Have a great first day!"

"Mom!I'll be home a little late. Basketball practice."

Saying that we headed out and got into Stacy's Jeep. We turned on the radio and As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber was on."How long has it been since we last heard this song!?" ' As Long As You Love Me,I'll be your platinum,I'll be your silver ,I'll be your gold' All of us screamed the next line in unison,"As long as you love, love me, love me". Then came the rap. No one except me rapped along. The other 2 just did hand movements and weird facial expressions.

"Damn Addy! You should become a rapper", was what Brooke said as we parked outside the school."No thank you!."

We walked to our lockers which again, were near near each other with a gap of onep locker in the middle. The order was Brooke,me and then Stacy. In between Brooke's and my locker was Alex's. Yayyy! "Look what the cat dragged in", Stacy said under her breath,coming beside me with her books. It was none other than Jennifer Mayhem and Mikayla Carter.

Every school has it's Queen Bee and/or Mean Girl(I prefer the term bee-otch). These 2 were ours. Jennifer Mayhem and Mikayla Carter were both cheerleaders and best friends. They both had the same attitude and shared a keen interest in picking on people. Both were very ,very ,very rich. Jennifer's mother was an interior designer and father had a business. Mikayla's mother on the other hand, had a clothing line and father had a wine factory. I swear, they didn't know how to dress to school. I don't like criticizing people's clothing style,but if I had to use a word to describe their outfits ,it would be slutty.

"If it isn't the 3 dummies!" That's how they greeted us. "Hello to you too Jennifer and Mikayla." I wasn't usually a mean person,but with them, I couldn't help it." How's your boyfriend? Oh wait! You don't have one", Mikayla snickered. I smiled "Seriously? That's the best you've got!". Jennifer took a step towards me,trying to be intimidating. If I was someone else I would've shrunk ,but I'm not scared of her." Listen bitch,don't show me that kind of attitude. You have no idea what I'm capable of." I rolled my eyes and the bell rang. I smiled before saying,"I would love to stay and chat but I gotta go. Oh and keep your threats to yourself. They don't work on me." I turned around and walked away.

My first class was English,with Stacy. It was boring. The day went on and lunch. Finally! I got myself a pizza and a chocolate milkshake. Stace and Brooke got the same. Lunch got over in the blink of an eye and I dreaded what I had next. Drama!

Don't get me wrong, I love drama. It's jus that Jennifer and Mikayla were in my class too. Ugh! Jake was also with me. Double ugh! Only reason I was okay was cause Alex was there.

I made my way there. As soon as I reached I saw Alex's piercing blue eyes. He saw me and walked over with a smile on his. He gave me a hug and I hugged him back. This got me a look from Jennifer,but I pretended not to notice. "Hey princess! Missed me?"That was Jake with a smirk on his face. "Hi moron and not even close." "Ouch!",he said keeping a hand on his heart as if I had physically hurt him. Drama class got over without any drama.

Next up...maths. I reached class and groaned."You're here too?" He smirked, again,"I thought u loved me"." In your dreams River", I rolled my eyes. I seem to be doing that a lot around him." I'm here too." Those blue eyes met mine again." You're in the clear." That's when Mr. Williams told us to settle down. I loved maths so I didn't even feel sleepy. The rest of the day went by and finally... Basketball practice.

Basketball practice was great and I feel tired as hell. Stacy dropped me off and I quickly had a bath. After that I went to the kitchen to eat something. There was lasagna in the fridge with a not on it. 'Called in for a surgery. Be back home by 10. Love u.'

Emma was watching random episodes of Modern Family. So I joined her.

After that I went straight to bed. I must've been super tired cause I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
