Accidentally In Love

Chapter 11

I woke up,did my daily stuff,had breakfast and was out before Jake's car pulled up. He hadn't seen me yet. I ran to his car, got in, and hugged him...voluntarily. It took him a few seconds to realize what was happening, and when the shock subsided, he hugged me back. "No matter how many times I say thank you, it won't be enough. But still, thank you Jake."

"Princess, you need to stop saying thank you. If you really wanna thank me just tell me you love me." Just like that the cocky Jake was back with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Nope. How about I buy you food?"

"Isn't the guy supposed to buy the girl food?"

"Do you want it or not. The offer ends in five,four,thr-"

"Okay ,okay. I'm down." Saying that we made our way to school.

Keith won't be coming back to school anytime soon because he's going in the hospital for a while. Guess he deserves it.

Alex was already at his locker. "Hey." He looked at me,"Hi. You doing okay?" His voice was full of concern." Yeah,I'm fine. Listen, about that, thank you so much for standing up for me. It means a lot."

That brought a huge smile to his face, and he pulled me in for a short hug. From the corner of my eye I saw Jake glaring at us. If I didn't know he was faking it, I would've believed he was jealous. The bell rang and we headed off to our respective classes.

It was now lunch and we were all at the table. Our school canteen was actually pretty good. I got myself a burger which was amazing.

As we were talking I suddenly felt someone's presence next to me. Jake was sitting there. Everyone at our table went silent. "Hey guys. What's up?" Soon enough the guys started warming towards him.

Austin maybe mature but that doesn't stop him from being kiddish every once in a while. He started throwing tiny pieces of paper at Stacy and that pissed her off. She started yelling at him, but he continued to grin like a goof. Does he like her? He definitely does! It's so obvious.

"A tu amigo le gusta tu pro amigo."(your friend likes your other friend). Jake whispered to me.

I turned to him, a little shocked. "Tu hablas espanol?"

He grinned, "Si"

"Pensé que era el único que se dio cuenta"(I thought I was the only one who noticed), I said coming back to the main topic.

"Soy muy oberservador" (I'm very observant)

"Pinche gilipolas", I rolled my eyes and cursed. He just chuckled.

It was now after school and practice was over. Jake and I were at The Hideout since I promised I'd buy him food.

"Let's play 20 questions." Jake was almost done with his food. With my mouth full I nodded 'yes'.

"Kay',me first. How long have you liked Alex for?"

"Hmm... I think a year. Wow! Never knew." I never really thought about this." My turn. Why are you helping me out? I mean, you already told me why, but I still feel there's more to it."

"Except for the reason I told you, I just wanted to stop this 'feud' which we seem to have." There's still more to it, but at least he told me something more about it. I'd like to take that as progress.

Now it was his turn again. "Why do you always click so many pictures? I've always seen you doing that."

"I don't have a reason actually. It just helps to keep those little incidents with me always. And I love to click pictures, so yeah."

He was listening intently. "Well your click really amazing pictures. Ever thought of clicking pictures of me?" And he's back. For the sake of it I switch on my camera and take a picture of him. Although I took him by surprise, he still looked amazing in the picture.

Wait,what. Jake and amazing are two separate words.

Face it dear. He looks amazing in the picture and even better in reality.

Can't argue with that. Ugh, just shut up.

We kept asking each other questions and were now at the park. By 6, Jake dropped me home. "I have to ask my last question", I said as I got out of the car and was talking to him through the window. "Fire away."

"Why do you just fool around with girls? Why haven't u dated anyone?"

He let out a soft laugh. "It's actually really easy to figure it out. I break their hearts before they break mine. Good night princess." Saying that he headed back to his place. Leaving me thinking. Why the hell does he think so?

On top: Jake's car. I don't have much idea about cars but this one is a beauty.

Also, I'm sorry for the late update. I have a lot of projects to finish plus online classes. Ugh!

Anyways, I'll try my best to update. I may not be regular but please, bear with me.
