Accidentally In Love

Chapter 10

Jake's POV

On hearing what had happened at the party I was angry. No that's an understatement. I was furious. It helped a little bit when she held my hand, but it wasn't enough. Seeing her crying cracked something inside me. She never cried.

After she slept, I went back to the party. I spotted Keith almost immediately and walked over to him. When I reached him, I punched his face. And it felt good. But he deserved more. So I punched him again. And again. And again. Until someone pulled me off of him.

"No! Let me at him! What the hell Alex! Leave me!"

"I'm stopping you from doing something you'll regret. Why are you even hitting him?",Alex said after losing his grip on me.

"Because he tried to abuse Addison. Luckily, she kicked him and got out",I said in a hushed tone because I knew she wouldn't like it if I told everyone.

"Where is she now?" I could see the horror and concern on his face.

"She's at home. Now if we're done here can I break his face now?" I had to.

"No we're going home. But just wait a sec." He went back to were Keith was and whispered something in his ear. Then punched him straight in his nose. Well I think that would suffice for now.

Addison's POV

As soon as I woke up, last night's incident hit me like a hurricane. I wanted to scrub every single inch of my body. And that's what I exactly did. I jumped in the shower, and scrubbed till my skin was tingling.

I still felt icky, but I was better than before.

I had a bunch of texts but only one caught my eye.

Stacy: Ok addy we know your at home. But why the hell did Jake come back?

Noah: Oh my god!

Caleb: Did you guys see that?

Brooke: Wow! That was quite a show.

Austin: Now at least we know that Addy will always be safe.

Me: Guys wth happened?

Just then Stacy messaged on us girls' separate group.

Stacy: We'll be at your place in 2 mins.

"Okay, that was actually exactly 2 minutes."I said opening the door.

"Your boyfriend. Sorry fake boyfriend punched the shit out of Keith. Why? What happened?" Stacy questioned walking up the stairs into my bedroom.

And so I told them everything.

"Oh my god! I'm super glad he did that but I'm pissed that he didn't let me join him",Brooke was in shock and also in awe.

"But guys seriously, how hard did Jake hit Keith?"

"Hard enough. Towards the end Alex also pinched him." Stacy smirked.

"Ummm..wow. I need to call them both." Saying this I walked towards the window.

I first called Jake. He answered after a few rings.

"Hello?" He was probably sleeping because his voice sounded a little husky. I guess I woke him up. Oh well.

"Why the hell did you beat the shit out of Keith?"

"I didn't punch him that hard. There were barely any scratches"

"Barely any scratches? You almost broke his nose and his eye is blackish purple."

He paused for a second before replying,"Okay maybe a few scratches. But I did it for you."

I couldn't stop a smile from coming on my face,"I know and thank you for that."

"Did Addison whatever- your-middle-name Bloom just say thank you to me. And that to this early in the morning?"I knew he was smirking.

"I have said thank you to you before. I'll take it back if you don't stop smirking."

He let out a laugh and said he needed to sleep more. We hung up. After that I called Alex.

"Hey Addy." He, unlike Jake, was wide awake.

"Hi. Umm I just wanted to thank you for what you did yesterday. And you were right in time to stop Jake from killing Keith."

"It's no problem. But are you okay?" He sounded concerned. He was always concerned.

"Yeah I'll be fine. I have to go right now but catch you later?"

"You know it." And he hung up.

The rest of the day I just hung out with out Stacy and Brooke. Later on, the guys also joined us. I told them what had happened but not in too much detail. They were in shock.

Noah hugged me tight enough to squeeze my lungs." Well at least we know that she's gonna be safe." They still had no idea that me and Jake were faking it.

After like 3 hours, everyone went home and I started talking to Jake.

Moron: Hey princess! You okay now?

Me: I'm okay

Moron: Ofcourse you are. I, your knight in shining armour, handled it.

Me: You? My knight in shining armour? How delusional can you possibly be.

Moron: Oof. That hurt.

Me: I think you can handle it.

Moron: Yes I can. I'm a big boy.

That sounded better in my head

Me:😂

Ok I still have a little homework to finish so byeeeeeee....

Moron: Good night princess!

I finished my remaining work and went straight to bed.
