Accidentally In Love

I thought Daniel moving here again was the worst thing, but him coming back to school was way beyond that. I have no idea how I was supposed to stay calm and control my anger with him walking in the same hallways as me. To make things worse, he was in my drama class. I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again...THE UNIVERSE HATES ME!

This morning when I entered school, I was greeted by his smirking face. I hate his smirk. It was annoying and made me feel uncomfortable. Jake's smirk was way better.

Yeah! It made him look hot!

Brain, right now we are trash-talking about Daniel. Not thinking about Jake. Focus. His locker was 3 down from mine. Yay! Note the sarcasm. It is very important to always note the sarcasm.

Anyways, back to this morning. When I was getting my books out of the locker, I saw Daniel making his way towards me. Just then, Jake came behind me and put his arms around my waist with his head on my shoulder. Others might think we were doing some couple-y stuff but actually, he noticed Daniel. For some reason, I got these butterflies in my stomach, but they weren't as powerful as compared to what I get when Alex was around. That shouldn't even happen.

We were now in drama. Mr. Fields told us to get into groups of four. Jake and I looked at each other and nodded our heads' in agreement. It was a given that Caleb was going to be with us, but for the sake of it, I asked him. I'm a good friend. Before I could ask Alex, Jennifer was all over him.

He mouthed me a sorry and was dragged away by the 2 bee-otches. He couldn't really say no to anyone. I was looking around to see who all were available. Then suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder. It was Rachel.

Rachel was another cheerleader. But she was actually nice, unlike some people. She was blonde with black eyes. She was not that tall, but she had a good figure.

So it was Jake, Rachel, Caleb and me. When everyone was in a group, Mr. Fields told us the assignment. "Okay. Now the assignment. All of you are writing an essay for English with a twist on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet right/" Everyone just nodded. "So whatever you write in your essay is what you will be performing. Now since you all are probably in different groups for that, choose the best essay from amongst you all and act that out. The same thing may be done by two groups, and I'm not concerned about that. I just want to see how each group portrays it." That's when the bell rang and we exited.

"Hey. Is it okay if I sit with you guys at lunch today?", she was looking at me with expectant eyes. I don't think she could do me any harm. I just nodded. She beamed at me and we started walking to lunch.

Stacy and Brooke didn't seem to mind her there. The guys and Jake were also pretty cool about her sitting with us. All of us fell into conversation. Suddenly, I felt something slap the side of my face. I wasn't a hard slap but it felt a little cold. The moron had thrown a piece of lettuce at my face. I looked at him with my mouth open and my face like 'you did not just do that'. He smirked. I picked up my leftover pasta and dumped it on his head. That sure as hell was enough to piss him off. Noah yelled, "FOOD FIGHT!" The next thing you know, there is food flying all around the cafeteria. Jake and I keep throwing food at each other. This went on until Mr.Jones, the principal of our came to stop the chaos and asked everyone who started it. Everyone stayed quiet...except Jennifer and Mikayla. "Addison started the food fight Mr.Jones." "Yes. We saw her start it." Now I was not the type of person who followed the rules and listened to everyone, but I was not a rebel either. Sometimes, I did nonsense things but was never caught.

"Addison. Detention." Mikayla and Jennifer sneakered, I just rolled my eyes at them and nodded.

"Mr.Jones, We both started it," Jake said from behind me still smirking. That was enough to make those storm out of the cafeteria.

"You both are supposed to clean this mess up too." Now that sucks.

So now we are cleaning the cafeteria. But it's actually us goofing off. Just then, Daniel came by and he was with the one and only, Jennifer. His eyes met mine, his smirk grew and he held her hand and went away.

Whatever. I don't really care.
