Chapter 18 - Memories.

**Mike's P.O.V.**

I can't believe Ally actually left.

She actually left, after she said she wouldn't.

I remember that day like it was yesterday.

The day was when I first met her, about four years ago. I was leaving for a 2 1/2 month tour.

--'Well we're leaving now. The crew just finished loading and we're moving' I said into the phone as I ran a hand through my hair.

'Ah that's awesome. So I'm guessing you want some sleep now?' Ally asked.

'Oh no, I wanna keep talking to you.'

'Aww, I feel so special.'

'You are.' I said. There was a small pause followed by a giggle from Ally.

'Anything you wanna talk about?'

'Since we don't know each other that well, why don't we play twenty questions. You know, to get to know each other better.' I suggested.

'Sure.'

'Okay. You ask first.'

'How old are you?'

'Promise you won't let this affect you?'

'I promise, as long as you're not younger than 19.' she laughed.

'I-I'm 27.' I said biting my lip.

'Oh.'

'Please tell me you're older than 24.'

'Well, not until a couple of years. I'm 19.' Ally said.

'Oh.'

'Yeah..' she trailed off. 'Things are gonna be awkward between us now, aren't they?'

'Not at all.'

'Good, because nothing will EVER separate us.' she said softly.--

Hah, what a lie.

'Why am I such a screw up?' I yelled before throwing my empty beer can across the room.

I miss her so much.

**Ally's P.O.V.**

I can't believe how much things have changed over the course of four years.

First, I met my favorite drummer. Mike Fuentes. Then, I got to know him. We were in a relationship. Now that doesn't happen everyday. Then, things started going downhill. He beat me and we grew apart. We went through so many things. Then, tragically, my sister died.

I moved away. I met a wonderful guy named Caleb. We dated for two years before he asked me to marry him. Now, we have a child. A child. We're about four months from getting married, and I still can't believe it.

It's so surreal.

I'm glad this all happened, I would've never gained so much life experience if it hadn't.
