Chapter 27

Harry’s pov 

Trevor was in the dumps all day, who could blame him though.

It breaks my heart to see my little man crying right in front of me. The worst part is that I knew I couldn’t do anything to make things better.

The only thing I could do was comfort him and tell him that everything was going to be okay. Though I knew it wasn’t going to be the same ever again.

I mean for me right now it’s the same , because she’s never here and I think Trevor thought the same way but its different now because he knows that he will never see him mother again. Before he knew she would come back soon.

"Come on bud I know it sucks but what about all the cool things we will get to do, we can go crazy." I said trying to lighten the mood.

"It’s not the same dad. I just want my mum. “He said crying even harder in my chest.

"Hey I know you do but sometimes things don’t always work out the way we want them to. It’s a part of life that’s cruel." I replied rubbing his back.

"But why didn’t she say goodbye? I don’t understand dad."

"Sometimes it’s hard for people to say goodbye to the ones they love. For your mum it was easier to leave then say goodbye."

"I hate this. “He said wiping his eyes.

"So do I Trevor but you have Darcy,Louis,Niall,Zayn,Liam and you also have me."

"I know that. Oh no.”He said standing up.

"What’s the matter?” I asked, confused.

"Darcy I left her alone now she’s going to hate me and leave me just like mummy did. “He said before running away into his room before closing his door.

"Hey Trevor don’t say that I’m sure Darcy will understand it’s not your fault.” I said once I got to his room before slowly opening the door.

"But Darcy doesn’t know that does she. I’m a lousy best friend now I will have no friends and I’ll be a loner in class because I won’t have Darcy. “He said lying on the bed looking up at the ceiling with tears streaming down his face.

"Trust me Darcy will understand. She’s a smart girl. She knows that you wouldn’t do anything to ruin you guy’s friendship

"I hope you’re right. “He said I was about to say something when there was a knock at the door. Wonder who that could be?

"Harry open the door. “It was Lou.

"Coming.” I called before making my way to the door.

"Hey man you up for Nandos? “He asked once I opened the door.

"Sorry man I’m have a father and son day.” I replied.

"What? Isn’t he supposed to be at school? “Louis asked tilting his head to the side.

"Yeah but something came up.” I replied walking back inside, Louis slowly made his way in.

"Why what happened? “He asked before taking his place on the couch.

"This happened.” I said grabbing the letter before passing Louis the letter.

I couldn’t look at Louis while he was reading the letter but I knew for a fact that he was just as shocked as I was when I heard him gasp.

"I’m so sorry Harry. “Louis said after a minute of silence.

"It’s fine I just don’t know what to do. I saw this coming but I didn’t think it would be this soon.You should have seen his face he was heartbroken and still is."I replied shaking my head. Why now? Why did it have to happen when he started school, when I knew for a fact that he needed her the most? I don’t think she could have picked a worse timing.
