Harry’s pov
“Come on Darc, let’s get you some food. “I said, before handing Darcy and Trevor a plate with a slice of pizza.
“I’m not hungry anymore.” Darcy said, pushing her plate away, her eyes were still red from crying.
“Are you sure? “I didn’t want her going to be without any food, excluding the junk food.
“I’m sure. “She said, nodding her head, before placing her fingers together.
“Okay. “I said, knowing that she wasn’t going to eat anytime soon.
As we were watching the rest of the movie I kept loving over towards Darcy who seemed to be out of it, though her eyes were fixed on the screen.
“Darcy come here.”I said, opening out my arms, without any hesitation she crawled over to me before sitting in between my legs, resting her head on my chest.
“Where’s your Mumma Harry? “She asked.
“My Mumma lives in her house, while I live here with Trevor. “I replied, stoking her hair.
“Oh.”
“Darcy your Mumma loves you very much, you must know that. “I said.
“I know she does, it’s just I’ve never been without her when it’s nightime, she’s always there when I wake up in the morning, but now she’s not, and I don’t like it.”
“Like I said before everything will be okay. “I said.
“Thank you Harry. “She said.
“It’s okay baby. Are you sure you don’t want anything? “I asked.
“I’m okay. I’m just tired. “She said as she rubs her eyes.
“Come on then. “I said, picking her up. “Come on Trevor, early night tonight. “I said.
“Okay. “Trevor said, standing up.
“Harry can you please put me down? “Darcy asked.
“Here you go babe. “I replied.
Once I placed Darcy down on the ground she began running up the stair, with Trevor trying to keep up.
“Be careful. “I called out to them, as I followed along behind.
“Night guys. “I said, once I tucked Trevor into his bed, Darcy was tucked in next to him.
“Night Daddy. “Trevor said, resting his hand on top of the quilt cover.
“Night Harry, thank you for letting me stay.” Darcy said, sinking deeper under the cover.
“Sleep tight. “I said, kissing both their foreheads.
“Harry I didn’t say goodnight to Mumma. “Darcy said, before quickly sitting up in bed.
“Here you go. “I said, handing her the phone from where she had placed in on the bedside table.
“Thank you. “She smiled, taking the phone from my hands, before tapping away at her mum’s phone. “It’s ringing. “She said, excitedly.
“Hi Mumma. “She said, smiling into the phone.
“How is he? “She asked.
How who is?
“Tell him I love him. “She said, smiling.
“Hi Chase. “She said, with the biggest grin on her face.
“I miss you to big brother. “She said, playing with the covers with her free hand.
