She wanted to get rid of it.

Now sitting in her balcony, Lorraine was high on weed. Too high and overthinking. It was funny because she hadn't overthought in quite some ears.

Of course, after winning an Oscar, anyone was bound to think that now their life would be of respect and self pride. But the reality was far different, for Lorraine was facing the biggest downfall of her career.

Her director was threatening to fire her from the movie and now she is most definitely caught up in a scandal with Park Jimin. It's as if her all tears had vaporized due to the heat of her rage.

But what will happen to Jimin now? He had told her that his fans were rather... possessive? She didn't know but she knew that the whole world was his fan. They're gonna come at her too.

Why should she care? All she knew was to gift thae godforsaken of a director a nice bottle of champagne and make him realise she was Lorraine Acker and she won't produce the goddamn movie if he actee shit to her. He was the worst. He cut her extended scenes, she was gonna cut his di–

A message popped up on her phone.

Hayden:
Room no. 475

She got up from her balcony and realised how high she actually was, not being able to hold herself stable. She stumbled and swayed down her house, grilling the railing and tripping twice on the stair cases. She didn't know how she made it till the car, but she did.

She blinked twice, resting her head back on the steering of her car when it felt too heavy. This is what she needed, Jimin out of her mind.

At least that's what her irrational mind thought.

She clutched the steering wheel tightly, starting the car by the sensor as it roared to life. With much effort, she kicked the accelerator, focusing her gradually blurring and swaying vision on the road in front of her.

She lost the track of time and speed while driving, even the track of where she was going.

One moment the road was there, wide open and safe, the next moment her tires weren't in control of her steering wheel, screeching badly. Out of panic, Lorraine turned the handle 360°, an emotional blindness taking over her.

Deep down she knew it wasn't the steering wheel who had lost the control over the tires. It was her mind who was too focused on the rushing thoughts of Jimin, causing her to loose balance.

Everything is going to be fine.

Her mind threw for an instant before it was all taken away as her car crashed into an electric pole, her head hitting somewhere hard.

A spark of blue and then nothing.

Lorraine dissolved into darkness.

Hoseok's steps resonated thought the corridor, wavering by hearing thousands of fans standing in front of their hotel. His mind in between the fans and Jimin.

He halted, standing in front of Jimin's room, clenching his fists, contemplating wether to knock or not. Did Jimin know the news?

He pushed the door open and stepped in only to see Jimin sitting restless on the couch, hearing the distant noises of fans, his lips pursed shut, body tense.

"Jimin..."

His head snapped up to meet Hoseok's.

"Jimin she... Lorraine's car crash–"

He was cut off by Jimin standing up immediately, it didn't look like he was listening to Hoseok.

"I'm going to see her." He declared hastily, grabbing his jacket. It was as if Jimin was just waiting for someone to push him to stand up and go to her.

"What?" Hoseok exclaimed. "Jimin, her car was crashed while she was on drugs. Are you out of your mind, have you not seen the crowd outside–"

Jimin cut off the distance between them in two long steps, glaring up at Hoseok with his red, fierce eyes.

"Do you think anyone, anyone is more mad at her than I am right now?"

He threatened, he was panting out of anger, but his eyes went somewhat softer and Hoseok realised his hands were shaking. He was scared, more scared than anyone would be to know that Lorraine was crashed into a pole. And yet he was acting stiff, a storm of emotions passing through him, leaving him perplexed to what was right and what was wrong.

Nothing was scaring him more that the possibility of Lorraine being in a critical condition. His heart was palpitating and his intestine was burning, looking for a relief. And that was pushing him to the edge, to take the risk, to step out into that hunger games of the crowd of haters or fans or whatever.

Jimin stepped away from Hoseok, putting on his mask and passing by him as Hoseok turned around to see Jimin walking towards the door but then stopped when he grabbed the door knob.

Jimin looked from his shoulder at Hoseok.

"She's screwed up my life... But I've left her once in this type condition...and it's probably the worst deed I have ever done, even if I did it for my dignity."

"Jimin you don't know who you're messing with." Hoseok warned and Jimin left out a sarcastic chuckle, laced with sadness.

"Perhaps I don't...But I've messed up pretty deep to let go, I'm not leaving her here in this condition, not this time. Because something worse happens each time I leave her...And I scare that the worst is close..."

With that he left the room.
