Harper's POV

Punch. Kick. Duck. Jab.

"Okay, okay, please stop." He says, admitting defeat. I crack a smile, stepping backwards, giving him some space to recover. He glares at me and stands up, dusting off the dirt on his jeans. "You pack a mean punch, has anyone ever told you that?"

"They have, on more than one occasion," I reply, smirking devilishly. "Do you want to go again?"

He shakes his head frantically, earning a small laugh from me. I think I've annoyed him. I've been kicking his a*s for a while now and I think he's getting fed up with it.

"No, thank you."

"You know, for the person who's the head warrior, you sure do suck at beating me," I egg him on, wanting to push his buttons.

He narrows his dark eyes at me, not finding this amusing like I am. I do enjoy winding him up though—he always reacts in the best way.

"I swear to god, one day I'm going to put your arrogant a*s in place," He retorts, dragging a hand through his brown hair.

"I'm looking forward to that day."

"Harper! Lewis!" A commanding voice booms from across the other side of the training field. We both whip our heads in the direction of the voice.

Aidan saunters over a troubled look on his face. He has been very busy lately.

"What is it?" Lewis asks, plastering a serious expression on his face.

"I need you to increase the number of wolves on patrol," He orders. My eyes widen with shock at the order, my interest spiking.

"Is this to do with the rogue attacks?" I question, not holding back.
