Natsu runs until he pin points the smell. He stood for a minute in confusion looking at this salmon haired girl playing, quietly under the parks tree, with a black-haired girl that smelt like... Gajeel. Natsu not really thinking walks over and grabs Nashi by the arm roughly and demands of her in an angry tone of voice "Where's Igneel? What have you done with him" then in a gentler more questioning voice "why do you smell like Igneel and...." He thinks about these other smells, his eyes widen and he whispers "Lucy?"

Nashi starts crying and protesting her treatment by Natsu. Nashi said "You're hurting me! I don't know any Igneel! Who is Igneel!" When she heard him whisper Lucy's name she froze and looked at Natsu directly and asked in an icy tone "How do you know my mother?"

Natsu's face froze and he let Nashi go in shock. "Your mother?"

Lucy who had been talking with Levy on the bench near the girls, suddenly snapped to attention and saw Natsu. She yelled with joy and happiness "Natsu! It's so good to see you! What are you doing here?"

"Lucy?!" Natsu said, he immediately thought that Lucy must have moved on and deserted him. He felt his heartbreak again as he asked "I didn't know that you had a kid. Who are you with?"

"No one Natsu. We need..."

"Don't lie to me, Lucy" he interrupted, I can smell someone else on you apart from these two kids. Lucy looked at him flabbergasted and shocked. Then it dawned on her and Natsu at the same time that he smelt Levy. (Natsu finally saw Levy sitting on the bench next to Lucy which is why it dawned on him) "ah never mind..."

Nashi angrily defended her mother "I don't know who you are mister but MY mother doesn't lie. You are so rude!" Nashi looks at Lucy and says "Come on Mum, let's go back home and leave this loser behind!"

Lucy looks at Nashi and then at Natsu and takes a big breath. " We really need to talk. "

Levy suggested "How about we go to the cafe?"

"Ok Levy"

"Ok Mum"

"Before we go Natsu, why are you here?" Levy asked

"I am supposed to be on a job with Ezra, Carla, Happy, Wendy and Grey" said Natsu

"Wait - they're here too?" Lucy asked.

"Yes"

"They need to hear what we have to say too, can you please ask them to meet us there?" Lucy asked pensively.

"Sure, what coffee shop are we meeting at? I really should help with the job. Can we meet at it in say 2 hours?"

"Yes, we can, it will give Levy and I time to talk..."

Natsu left for the job with a puzzled look on his face which looked like "Why do you and Levy need to talk?" But he didn't ask. He turned at the corner, looked back saw the girls looking at him gave a smile and wave and kept walking. He suddenly realized that he had no idea where the bakery was or where he was for that matter so decided to follow a bread smell. Luckily, he had, Happy after going to the bakery went looking for Natsu and came across him a short time after. "You found me, little buddy!"

"Yah, Natsu, where'd you run off to?"

"I thought I smelt Igneel."

"Oh...Did you?"

"Nah... Let's go little buddy."

"Sure Natsu" Happy flew Natsu back to the bakery,

Ezra glares at Natsu and says "Get to work, you WILL explain yourself after!"
