"it's Heejin"

Both girls looked into each other's eyes probably in shock. Hyunjin hasn't heard that name in months, and now she's getting a call? Something wasn't clicking.

—Don't pick it up, mute it. —Hyunjin got her eyes back to the tv screen while Ryujin did what she was told.

—Hey, don't you think it's better to just talk to her, I mean if she called it must be important.

—No Ryujin. Everything is already done and we have nothing to talk about.

—I still think you should at least-

—That's just your opinion.

They fell in a very uncomfortable silence, Ryujin sighed and went back to watch youtube videos. Sometimes she wished she could get into Hyunjin's brain and make her think for just a minute, she has cut ties with everyone she knew at college, everything that reminded her of Heejin was thrown out of her life and she understood why she would do that but at the same time, she was an adult, both of them are. Considering the recent events, the only reasonable one is Heejin.

—No, you know what? YOU were the one that messed up Heejin's life SHE should be the one pushing you and erasing you from her life, but she's wanting to just have a normal conversation with you like two reasonable adults so stop being so childish Kim Hyunjin!.

Ryujin suddenly stood up and screamed at her to just calmly go to her bedroom and close the door when she was finished. Hyunjin stood still on the couch, blinking a few times and processing what she was told. She knew Ryujin had a strong character but she's never been like this to her before.

On the tv, there was a couple making out and Hyunjin just stared at it deep in her thoughts once again, she unconsciously touched her lips softly, reminding herself of Heejin's soft strawberry tinted lips. Maybe Ryu was right, maybe she was being childish and stupid, she grabbed her phone and stopped herself when she tried to dial Heejin's number.

Fuck, no no no!!

And just like that her phone was thrown somewhere in the room. The same thing happening on a very familiar mansion, Heejin was frustrated and just threw herself on the bed.

She has been thinking of Hyunjin lately, after her company went back on track she's been alone and bored and that led to her thinking unnecessary things. Her mind replayed that scene where she told Hyunjin to leave the house.

The ceiling looked very interesting right now, the ceiling that she hasn't seen in years, was now eye catching.

I should apologize for being so rude to her that day.

Her brunette locks spread beautifully on the bed, she started to closer her eyes, slowly falling asleep when her phone rang. She stood up immediately and searched for it on the floor, the phone was nowhere to be seen, she couldn't have thrown it that far?!

When she kept looking she found it over a mountain of clothes she had accumulated. She quickly picked it up without checking the caller's name

—Hyunjin?! —Heejin unconsciously said.

—I'm afraid I'm not Hyunjin.
—that voice belonged to Sooyoung, which made Heejin choke on her saliva.

—Ah, my apologies I was waiting a call. Is something the matter? —Heejin scratched her neck in embarrassment.

—It's no problem. Just called to let you know later in the afternoon I'd like to have a meeting with you in the cafeteria near the building. I'll be waiting to discuss this season's issue.

—Sure, I'll be there don't worry. Thanks for calling.

Heejin didn't wait for a reply she just hung up and sat down lifelessly on her bed.

I need to eat lunch and get ready, I know Sooyoung is very cruel when it comes to criticize someone's outfit.

Hyunjin on the other hand stood up from her place in the couch and knocked on Ryujin's door waiting for an answer.

—Ryu, I'm so sorry for being very cutting with you, I didn't mean to. I'll try my best to fix everything with Heejin but now I don't think it's the right time, I still have to prepare myself mentally to see her again.

Ryujin opened the door a little bit and made eye contact with the older.

—Are you for real? I'm also very sorry for screaming at you I was kind of angry at you. Maybe I'm still angry.

Hyunjin fully opened the door and hugged her friend, Ryujin hugged back and sighed in relief, she can't be mad at her for more than 10 minutes.

—Hey, Yeji called me, she said she needs us in the studio. —Ryujin broke the hug.

—Right now? Is she going to treat us for lunch after? —Hyunjin smiled.

—If I pressure her then yes, let's go.

Heejin was ready to head out and have that meeting with Sooyoung, the sun was very strong she had to bring an umbrella. She hated having to walk but it was close to her house so she didn't bother to drive.

She was wearing black heals with black dress pants and a tucked in white shirt with a blazer on top, it was a formal meeting after all.

When she was close to the destination, suddenly her feet stopped, she stood there frozen, her umbrella slowly uncovering her head. She saw two girls walking in front of her, arms crossed and smiling while talking one had short blue hair and the other a very recognizable long red hair.

"Hyunjin..."

The red head saw the woman in front of her she stopped her tracks and her smile disappeared in a matter of seconds.

"What's wrong?" Ryujin asked.

"It's Heejin...."
