UGH MAX YOU SO STUPID! i told myself as i stepped out of ally's home.

why the fuck did i let that slip through my mouth! i know she will never feel the same for me but like fuck! what if things change between me and iris because of it!?

my thoughts were interrupted when i heard harvey call me. "max? hello? earth to max?" he said as he waved a hand in front of me.

"oh uhm sorry harvs."

"what happened back there? you basically confessed how you felt!" he said smirking.

"not cool harvey. don't even remind me, i know she doesn't feel the same way." i sighed before rubbing my face in disappointment. "are you fucking hearing yourself!? dude she's head over fucking heals for you since she was 12! who said she was over you?? the fuck max?" he said completely annoyed.

i groaned and left him there as i stormed inside my room. i was just staring at my ceiling thinking about what harvey said.
