MAX

I MANAGED to get up early since me and harvey decided to fetch the girls at iris's house and from there we show them around town. me and harvey were eating breakfast when iris called me.

"maaaaax where are you and harvey?" she said whining like a child. "at home eating breakfast bub. why?" i asked trying to keep my cool because she sounded so cute. "nothing actually, just come sooner i wanna see you guys already." she said laughing. "alright mam". she ended the call and i was now telling harvey to hurry up.

as we arrived at her doorstep we were greeted by a pair of arms. "i missed you two idiots." she said causing me to chuckle and harvey to roll his eyes at her playfully. "please do come in." as we entered we were greeted by her best friend ally.

"nice to finally meet the infamous max and harvey mills my best friend obsessed with when she was 13." we all laughed at her statement right after she said it. "nice to meet you too ally." i said smiling at her. harvey on the other hand was just there standing. not saying a single word. "earth to harvey mills!" iris said snapping him out of his thoughts. "oh yes h-hi." he replied as his cheeks were burning up. i have never seen my twin like this, and not gonna lie he looks extremely stupid.

"so are you ready to go?" i asked following iris to the kitchen since she wanted to get some water. "yes we are. took you guys a while." she mentioned as she playfully rolled her eyes. "hey! no we weren't! you just missed me too much and wanted me to go here earlier than planned." i said teasing her. "you're right. you're right." she said pretending to agree to me. but damn i dont know why but i started to feel my knees weaken. my cheeks started to heat up. luckily harvey and ally came and snapped me out of whatever state i was in. "lets go!" iris said all jumpy pulling my arm like a little kid.

we toured them around town. went to check the different stores and we also ate in one of the popular pizza parlors in town. as we were showing them around and the girls being really ecstatic i can't help but find myself taking glances at iris wherever we go. the way her eyes become so tiny when she smiles and how her smile goes from one ear to another. i felt that being around her was so special. like she gave all of us a positive atmosphere. and i am glad to have her as a friend in my life.

harvey and ally on the other hand clicked so fast and it's not even a day and they are already glued on to each other's hips. "they would look so cute together don't you think bubba?" iris said pointing at the two who were now trying to push each other to see who falls to the ground first. "yeah bub, and if im being honest this is the first time i saw harvey that happy. it scares me." i said jokingly earning a short laugh from her.

"so maxxxxy, do you know where to buy some ice cream?" she faced me and showed me her pleading eyes which makes it hard for me to stop myself from blushing. "yes bub it's quite near. lets go there?" i was trying my best not to show from the way i speak that i'm going crazy and i dont know why. "yes yes yessss!" she said jumping. harvey and ally went their separate way to check some clothes.

we got our ice creams and we were walking back home. harvey texted me that ally and him went home already since they were both feeling tired a few minutes after they started to look at the stores around. "you know i could've paid for mine bub" iris said chuckling. "i know, but i wanted to treat you today." i felt a smile find its way to my face. "you're sweet max, i believe my 13 year old self would be so jealous of me right now." she chuckled and i was now staring at her. "what?" she asked confused. "is there something on my face?"

"no bub, it's just that i realized you were the first fan or lets say ex fan that i actually hung out with." i truthfully told her. "well is that a good thing or a bad thing?" she said as she took another scoop from her ice cream. "no no no. its good. in fact really good. because considering you were a fan back then, you would probably be freaking out right now. but when im with you its like im just max." we found a bench we could sit on and just talk.

"well uhm for starters my heart lowkey freaked out when you replied to me BUT it wasn't the same way as how i would've freaked out if i was still the obsessive fan i was back then. and you aren't just max. plus im honored to be your friend. actually if im also being honest right now, i just want to say i am so proud of how far you and harvey have come. like i may have outgrown my fangirling stage but im saying this because i genuinely mean it. im so so so proud of both of you. i cant express the happiness i felt seeing you guys come this far. x factor, new songs, a lot of tours and fomo even. damn it makes me happy seeing the two boys i saw from musical.ly reach their goals." she spoke with confidence and honesty. i couldn't help but stare. i was at loss of words. she was taking my breath away, and no denying this girl is making me feel things i do not understand and know yet of.

"you're staring again." she said looking away as if she's embarrassed. "it's just, wow. i dont know what to say. thank you. for being there for me and harvey since day one. i am really, i mean really happy i got to meet you and have you be a part of my life now ever since we became friends." she turned to me and smiled. that smile. its making me go nuts. what the fuck is going on with me.

we talked for a few more minutes until we decided to go home. we arrived at our house and harvey and ally was curled up in the sun room's sofa watching a movie. "hey guys what did we mi-" i was cut off when i heard iris squeal. "holy shit are you a thing now!?" causing both my brother and ally to blush and become speechless. "no fucking way! its been a day and you're together now?" i said laughing. dont get me wrong i support them but i never knew my twin brother could be this bold to end up dating someone he knew in less than a day. "i ship oh my god" iris was still freaking out about the news and i was just watching her. she seemed so happy. i want her to stay like that.

it was now time for the girls to go home. harvey brought ally home which is also just infront of iris's house.

"hey max, thanks for today" i only expected her to smile when she said that. but i was wrong. i felt her arms snake around my waist since she was shorter than me cause she was just below my chin. i felt her hug me tight with her head buried on my chest. i was frozen for a split second until i realized i needed to hug her back. i hugged her tight as well and placed my head on top of hers. "of course bub, anything for you." i said as i played with her hair. we pulled apart and walked to her front door.

once she was out of my sight i was smiling like an idiot. this girl was going to be the death of me.
